But instead of purging them from voter lists, the organization requires member states to solicit voter registrations from those ineligible voters.

What is the problem with registering people legally?

There is the conclusion from the white paper cited in that article:

quote:

The Electronic Registration Information Center bills itself as an efficient and cost-effective mechanism or states to maintain accurate voter rolls. While it has been effective at identifying many potentially improper or invalid voter registrations, certain aspects of its operations are more dubious. It was founded by the liberal Pew Charitable Trusts, potentially with funding that originated from George Soros’ Open Society Foundations network. Its founder, who remains influential within the organization, has a history of left-wing activism and unethical conduct. It shares the vast amount of sensitive personal data it receives from member states with another liberal non-profit, the Center for Election Innovation and Research, which was a key player in the “Zuckerbucks” scandal. It is far more effective at swelling voter registration rolls than at keeping them clean. Finally, its receipt and use of voter data from member states may violate the Help America Vote Act, the National Voter Registration Act, and the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act.

Seems to lack substantive or legitimate criticism and instead focuses on irrelevancies like who funds/runs the organization. What's lacking with this conspiracy theory is any allegations of impropriety by these purported nefarious actors. The only allegation is that they....legally register people (which is not a bad thing).

A simple question, with massive implications: Should an Illegal Immigrant who is given a Driver’s License be registered to vote?

You usually bail when you hit a brick wall. Smart lawyering though, as a lawyer advising a potential criminal client to quit talking as their revelations will be used against them in Court.

“If the glove don’t fit…”. “The truth, the WHOLE truth and nothing but the truth “. This is why respect for Rule of Law is going away. Congrats on the win.

no - no I am not OK - I am more pissed off than I have ever been in my life.

I am used to idiots uttering idiotic statements and try to ignore them.

You are not an idiot - you know exactly what you are saying and would evisorate anyone who made such bullshite arguments.

You are happy with the corruption the democrat party has inflicted on the USA. More than happy - it seems to be the only thing you are passionate about.

You are what is wrong with America - you have the intellect to do good - you use it for political disorder and abuse - you defend the most outlandish examples of political skullduggery imaginable.

I hope you do not have children.

You know damned well that the ONLY reason the democrats are doing the shite they are doing now is so they can CONTINUE TO CHEAT IN ELECTIONS!!!

You cannot defend a single one of their actions in the past decade that is for anything OTHER than defending their grip on taking advantage of the holes in our voter registration and voter participation systems.

Democrats owe at least 50 congressional seats on lax voter eligibility.

This bullshite ERIC endeavor you cited was nothing more than more than window dressing at best and at worst was another way to fund yet another 'outreach' by the democrat activists to load up the registration rolls with more fodder for there "ballot harvesters" to gather up.

You fool nobody here - you are become tiresome - you need to reevaluate your core principles.

But I expect nothing from you other than being a pain in the arse.

I notice you went for ad homs instead of substance

because that appears to be the only interest you have - you are like an unkempt bum on the street hassling people in the hopes of getting someone to pay attention, even if it is in the form of insult - so you can somehow fell 'noticed'

Here ya go - you are disgusting piece of shite - hope you feel better now - you can chalk up another 'win' :

300,000 deceased “active” voters? Doesn’t say how many of those have been voting. As with DOGE, cleaning up old data in a database doesn’t mean they just found fraud.

Ok, investigate those and confirm that duplicate names with different SSN are not the issue.

Then show how many of those 300,000 are legit deceased and should be removed from the voter roll.

And then show which of those deceased names actually voted. In each election since their death.

If you can do those things, then people will take notice. Until then, it’s just innuendo and bluster.

I agree. Finding "thousands" isn't a drop in the fraud bucket.

No.

They probably shouldn't be given a DL, either (although this becomes a state issue for many DLs)

wut

Where did I mention the DEMs at all in my post?

If this data shows that this cheating is non-existent or overblown, it disproves your assertion. All I did was comment on the data. You seem to be commenting on something else.

This is a very emotional take. Not a logical one.

What is wrong with legal registration of citizens eligible to vote?

That article is incredible

quote:

DOJ Audit of Voter Registration Rolls Uncover Massive Fraud Avenues

Avenues, not fraud.

And it can't even stay consistent in its allegations/implications:

quote:

The audit of voter registration records found more than 300,000 deceased individuals still listed as active voters, as well as tens of thousands of non-citizens who have already cast ballots in federal elections.

These 2 figures are not consistent with other parts of the article

Specifically on the "already cast ballots" allegation, read the actual quoted language from Dhillon:

quote:

“We have also found, separately, noncitizens on the voter rolls. And so now we’re doing our due diligence to identify the extent to which they may or may not have voted,” she continued.

quote:

“And we have referred tens of thousands of potential noncitizens who are on the voter rolls. And that’s a lengthier process, Rob, because we don’t want to accuse anybody wrongfully. So we have to go through checking a number of different databases, sources, and sometimes court records to determine whether this person became a citizen or not. And then, finally, we reach a conclusion,” she added.

She didn't allege they had evidence of these people voting (especially at that scale). In fact, she said they had to investigate this.
