Retail sales for Dec without autos:
DOWN 2.3% vs. 0.2% Expected gain
Export prices DOWN vs expected gain.
Now remember what kamala said… it’s the people buying stuff in large numbers that is driving the supply chain crisis. Whoops.
And the Fed is planning rate hikes to curb the “”transitory”” inflation. Oh boy.. raising rates on falling retail sales?? Buckle your belts!
Thanks for getting rid of the mean tweets though!! And the selfishness of two scoops!! And serving young champion teams McDonalds!! Let’s all get triggered at a bowl of oranges now! Reeeee!!!

Yesterday I paid $30 for a mid-week resupply of daily stuff at the grocery. 2 years ago the same stuff was at least $10 cheaper.
But go be happy you got rid of the mean tweets and hope your stimulus checks keep up with price increases.

That’s a good thing. What stops inflation is when people quit spending their money on non-essentials.

I eat well but I was spending 300 per week on items for me to cook now it’s closer to 600 for a family

Except that the effect of inflation (slowing of spending included) was built into the projected slight gain. They didn’t come close.
