I'm an avowed left-basher, but the right needs to quit acting like giant babies.

It annoys me. I'm not going to call for them to be banned. I'm not going to rant on social media. I'm just going to change the channel. That's the appropriate reaponse when entertainment fails to entertain.

No, we just don't want our hired help telling us how they feel. That's not what we pay them for.

The difference is that the right doesn't demand the government shut down speech they disagree with or demand the athletes be fired and compare them to Hitler.

There is nothing wrong with thinking it is inappropriate for athletes and entertainers who gain popularity through sports or entertainment to use their fan base as a captive audience for poorly developed political opinions.

I'm not sure you know what political correctness is if you think this constitutes it.

You can disapprove of an athlete doing something and still support their right to do it.

Disapproval =/= censorship.

No, that's being an immature baby. So there's definitely something that warrants ridicule.

It is appropriate for anybody to say anything that they like.

The political opinions of athletes and celebs shouldn't bother anyone. But we are also allowed to disagree with their opinion.

Disagreement =/= offended.

Does it bother me that an mostly uniformed athletes speak out about politics? Yes. Am I going to go "protest" around their houses and destroy their property over it? No.

Yes they call other people snowflakes yet they are deeply offended when someone on tv expresses a political opinion they don't like.
