Sorry you are too stupid to understand this.
Lol. So not only is it annoying that an entertainer is expressing their opinion when no one cares, it's also inappropriate for entertainers to tell their captive audience how they feel on the issues.
Entertainers shouldn't voice their opinion because no one cares and people care too much all at the same time. Brilliant.

Glenn Beck called this out when he attended the facebook meeting last year. He said that he was seeing from the right, what he criticized in the left.
Everyone does it, everyone thinks the other side is the bad guys and they are the good guys. We all need to be a bit smarter than that.

It's hard not to reciprocate for the last 8 years I gues.

No, that's being an immature baby. So there's definitely something that warrants ridicule.
Being immature is me telling you to frick off and questioning when you changed from being a handwringing pussy on this board to whatever this new schtick is.

I'm not trying to turn anything around. There are many on the left for whom that description is accurate.
That having been said, it also accurately describes anybody who gets their jimmies rustled just because another American expresses a view on tv that doesnt confer with their own.

Agreed. Anyone calling for them to be banned is a snowflake.
Dancing clowns aren't paid for their political opinions.
I just ignore them completely. The political opinions of an athlete or celebrity are beyond worthless.

The left is very understanding. I'm sure this has nothing to do with it.

I mean, not necessarily. They don't have intrinsic worth, but they can be valuable, provided they are reasoned, nuanced, and informed - but the same can be said of any person regardless of profession.

What you people don't understand is that every time you bitch and moan about someone burning the flag, or sitting during the Anthem, you are being PC police.
Those actions are considered politically incorrect by the right as much as anything the left considers politically incorrect.
Remember that the next time you start melting over some athlete not standing for the Pledge, or the Anthem.
When are y'all going to learn that both sides employ the exact same tactics as the other?

I will say in regards to Colin Kaepernick, if you didn't like the fact that someone chose not to sing the national anthem then GTFO because you're asking for fascism when you demand compliance with national symbols. Just because the anthem represents the freedom to speak (and not speak), doesn't mean everyone must comply, that's just antithetical to the point of having free speech.
And whatever you think of his political views, the point stands, people get criticized for violent protest, people get criticized for non-violent but disruptive protest. If a guy wants to kneel for two minutes during a song, no one gets hurt, and his right to ignore a song is ultimately part of what America is about.

FFS. Can we acknowledge there is a distinction between PC police trying to shame people into changing their actions or not speaking, and the simple disagreement someone may have with burning the flag?
Thinking someone shouldn't burn the flag and saying "man frick that guy" is not "being PC police."

Their opinions are no more worthy than the gas station attendant, the local doctor, the garbage man, the electrician, etc.
They just aren't afforded the soap box of celebrity status.

Because they make it nearly impossible to do so. Before the game its all focused on the controversy. Even during the game, the commentators bring up all of the nonsense surrounding certain players in whatever sport it is. I now just listen to music. It definitely takes away from the experience by not being able to hear the actual sound effects of the sport
