If Barr resigns, I think it means he was never going to do what is necessary to clean house at the DOJ.

Why can't Trump be president and stop meddling in jobs that are beneath him. Needs to stop micromanaging and play more golf after nominating someone.

Nope, I want someone who actually gives a damn. Like Trump.

He “gives a damn “about his and his cronies’ self-interest. Admirable.

not with the current senate map open in 2020.

What does this mean? The only unsafe seats are CO and AZ but the GOP is flipping AL. The senate composition likely remains the same. McConnell will get more members if the Dems run Brenie or Bloomberg because enthusiasm on the Dems side will be in the shitter.

52-48

With Romney, Murk, and possibly Collins out in ME which would be 51-49.

I'd hate to see those sorry frickers in Washedupton have to work for a living like replacing Barr.

If they lose the senate it won't be Trumps fault, it's because they suck. John Q. Public is watching.

The swamp has 2 types of creatures in it, democRATS and repuglicans.

Lead, follow or get the frick out of the way.

I’m not worried about Collins. IMO, Romney and Murkowski only risk primary challenges.

Murkowski isn’t up for election until 2022.

Mittens not up until 2024.

How adorable, tell me again what he’s doing that’s in his interests and not the countries?

Meanwhile you support politicians such as Obama, Clinton, and Bernie. All of which talk about how there is unequal distribution of wealth and that the government should take it while simultaneously being millionaires themselves. Never mind the fact they accumulated such wealth while being on a salary that makes such accumulation impossible.

Getting Barr through the Senate was difficult enough, with his nomination accruing just 54 votes, including the support of three Democrats — one of the most partisan confirmations of any attorney general.

If Trump were to ditch Barr, or if the attorney general resigned, the Senate would be unlikely to confirm a successor “any time soon,” Cornyn predicted. Republicans are fighting to save their Senate majority and reelect Trump in November, and having to handle a new nominee amid Trump's interference with DOJ would be unwelcome in GOP circles and require vulnerable senators to take a potentially tough confirmation vote.

Is there any actual evidence of stife? Yes I read what Barr said about tweets, but there is a difference between wishing Trump wouldn't tweet about active cases and quitting or being fired.
