If our TD Moderates are correct....and when aren’t they? the Dems will wipe the floor with Republicans in the midterms. An outcome these famously neutral observers have absolutely no rooting interest in.

And surely that won’t send the cultural pendulum back to the Left after several years of swinging Right. Surely we won’t get Woke 2.0, complete with another push for the same policies involving trans kids we’re now told everyone has “moved on” from.

Nope. Pure fantasy from our dangerous far-right echo chamber on Tigerdroppings.com. The truly enlightened know that cultural pendulums only swing once.

That's literally the singular most logical thing you've had to say in years. Make sure you follow it up by stating that the entire LGBTQxyz... lobby is backed by MAGA and not the left.

The time to worry about this was when the GOP came back in to power. That was when people needed to think about the pendulum swinging.

The cow is out of the barn. The republicans made Americans lives generally worse. The electorate will punish them and we will all be worse off after woke 2.0 does come back.

I still think that this is not going to be a Blue Wave and it's going to be a blue trickle similar to 2022 specifically because the left and Democrats did not come to the center and still have that hyperpartisan flank that they're all being associated with. The problem with his post is he doesn't understand, even though it's been explained multiple times, that these comments aren't specific to one echo chamber.

The scary part for for the Republicans is if I'm wrong and a Blue Wave happens while they still have that hyper partisan flank, then that is a severe denouncement of MAGA.

The other issue with his post is he conflates politicians with culture and pics. The wrong cause and effect. Culture, largely shapes, politicians, issues, talking points etc

You can put that one on my tab if you want. You're the only one who cares about that

Absolutely spot on—I had the same thoughts.

No one cares about this anymore. We no longer see "She/her" or the other ridiculous pronouns being discussed or displayed on someone's Teams profile.

It's a dead issue.

But fear-mongering is really the only thing the current GOP has.

A boogeyman has to exist.

Then explain the losses in special elections recently.

The reason is Dems always try to talk moderate and sensible before elections. Then they get elected and got lock step for crazy. People need to be reminded.

Dude, there are CHILDREN who are having their bodies mutilated. That's insane.

You're actually okay with that? You actually don't care about that?

I'm sure I'll get a straightforward response. #SARCASM

SFP you have been breathlessly posting like crazy on this so I would get why people would think this matters to you even more than it does to talarico

No one may care but everyone has an opinion, and an overwhelming majority are opposed to the irreversible mutilation agenda being mainstreamed.

I don’t ever think about the trans issue at all but if informed, I wouldn’t vote for a person who thinks it’s good to expose and encourage vulnerable children to that extreme option. That os why they should run the commercials.

Breathless! Thank you for proving my point far better than I could have. And good job finding out that talarico did indeed make comments worshipping at the trans altar.

Why

I'm pretty sure that the "they/them" anti Harris ad was declared the single most effective ad in the 2024 campaign (don't ask me what metrics were used to crown it the winner...I don't know).

Which was less than 24 months ago.

If that's already stopped resonating with voters, o.k., so be it.

But I don't know that I would have predicted that quick a turnaround either.
