After two years of Trump in the WH this will probably start turning.
The only way all these states will stay red is if congress and Trumps advisers can control him. In the 1st 4 weeks they are struggling to keep him on message and staying with his campaign agenda.

Control him? Name one other president that has had to deal with the shite he's had to deal with their first four weeks in office. I'll wait.

Pres. Reagan- Iran problem
Pres. Truman-WWII
Pres. Washington-new country
Pres. Lincoln-Civil War
Pres. FDR-Great Depression
Pres. Nixon-Vietnam War
Pres. Johnson-Kennedy assassination
I'm sure I could look up more
Trumps issues mainly brought on by him and his team.

The reason this provision was added to the Constitution, just two days before the close of the 1787 convention, was a concern raised by George Mason. In keeping with the checks and balances of the Framers, Mason believed that no branch of government should have the power to determine the extent of its own power.
Maybe they'll not let us MAGA anymore

they might want to concentrate on getting Washington under wraps first....baby step, baby steps.
The Convention of the States is exactly what we are supposed to do when Washington isn't under wraps. It's a sidestep to go over the heads of the assholes that don't listen.

You mean staffing up?
Because in terms of the situation he inherited its hard to name anyone who had it easier.

It was this application that formed the framework for the convention-of-states simulation last week in Colonial Williamsburg. Every state sent delegates, who spent two days debating dozens of ideas for amendments under these general topics. The simulated convention passed significant amendment proposals on the following six ideas:
1. Requiring the states to approve any increase in the national debt
2. Imposing term limits on Congress (effective retroactively)
3. Limiting federal overreach by returning the Commerce Clause to its original meaning
4. Limiting the power of federal regulations by allowing an easy congressional override
5. Requiring a supermajority to impose federal taxes and repealing the 16th Amendment, which legalized the federal income tax
6. Giving the states (by a three-fifths vote) the power to abrogate any federal law, regulation, or executive order

Bill Clinton, George W Bush, George HW Bush all probably inherited an easier situation.

All of these, please... and a bag of chips.

My point is that the GOP might want to get its own shite together before they start with everyone else's. The GOP in Washington is still a dysfunctional disaster....the fiddler has yet to be paid. Just because an outsider who most in the party thought was a joke a year ago and almost no one in the party thought would become president just 160 days or less ago did indeed become president doesn't mean that the ghosts that lead to that person being nominated against the wishes of the party leaders have been exorcised....they are still there and they are going to get their pound of flesh yet....
