If they can win one more state house, then they can call for a convention on their own

Before the usual morons show up with the idiutoic talking points lets establish a few things:
1) A convention of the states is NOT a constitutional convention
2) There can NOT be a runaway convention as all products from the CoS has to be then ratified by the requisite number of states.
3) It is legal, and in the Constitution.

Balanced budget amendment
Repeal the 17th
Reinforce the 10th amendment
Overrule the Wickard and Kelo SCOTUS decisions.

they might want to concentrate on getting Washington under wraps first....baby step, baby steps.

But wouldn't they also have to submit a request for a ConCon?
So at this point, which states have and which ones still need to get on board?

Louisiana 8th States To Pass Article V Convention Of States Application
LINK /
quote:
In the middle of the week the Louisiana state House approved, in a 62-36 vote, becoming the 8th state to sign on to calling for an Article V Convention of States to propose and debate possible amendments to the US Constitution to limit the federal government and restore power back to the states. The bill calling for an Article V Convention had passed the Louisiana Senate previously. Louisiana’s legislature joins, Florida, Alaska, Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Tennessee, and Oklahoma in backing use of the Constitutions second method for generating constitutional amendments to secure such long sought after things as congressional and Supreme Court term limits, a balanced budget amendment, and reigning in the federal bureaucracies regulation writing power. The Article V movement first began to gain steam following the publication of nationally syndicated talk show host Mark Levin’s book The Liberty Amendments. When the Texas legislature reconvenes next year, that state is easily likely to join those state legislatures calling for a Convention of States. During a radio interview during the week Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said that recently concluded Texas GOP convention passed a priorities list for the legislative session, and adoption of the Article V application was near the top. It takes two-thirds of the state legislatures passing Article V applications for a Convention of States to be called and any amendment that such a Convention produces still must be ratified by three-fourths of the states before it can become law of the land.

I think that the State/Federal power pendulum needs to swing from time to time. Here in 2017, we see that the Federal government has amassed too much power and at the same time is continuously frozen in gridlock. Lobbyists and the Deep State are running things. Not the People. Trump is constantly under attack without any help, even the Republicans.
We need the States to step-up, take back some power from the Feds, and get our house in order.
I'm sure the Globalists will punish this move by trying to lower the T-Bill's credit rating or wrecking the dollar, but we gotta stop this mess in D.C. once and for all.
This is all to say: BRING ON THE CONVENTION!
