I have. And what I understand is that you see what you want to see, and that is the orange man is bad. It clouds your ability to be objective. Which is usually what happens when you make decisions based on your emotional state.

Hahaha...I know, right?
I've never seen a more pretentious person on a message board.

quote:As far as op-ed and story selection, I tend to agree with you. Fox is certainly Right-biased, but Vox is FAR-Left.
You would have to be a real idiot to equate Fox with Vox
And I imagine you are trying to do just that.
I am uncertain that the same analysis applies to simple factual reporting. Either this woman made this statement, or she did not do so. I think all acknowledge that the former is the case.
It seems silly to attack objective fact, based upon the outlet in which it is published. Though one might not argue with the notion that Vox would find her and publish her story, whereas Fox would likely not do so. Again, “story selection.”. That criticism of Vox does not negate the facts that they report ... or the facts that Fox reports.

So, as usual, you can't even come up with anything intelligent to counter my post, just childish name-calling. That's par for the course for you brainwashed Trump lemmings.
You didn't post anything that needs to be 'countered' - Nobody really cares about what one person is reported to have said. If she said that, I think she is silly - There is nothing in the Mueller report that should "surprise" and sentient person.
And if she had actually watched FNC, she would have known all the pertinent facts presented in the Mueller Report.
The only people "surprised" by the Mueller Report are those who know nothing but what the other MSNBC/CNN/NYT/ABC/CBS/NBC/PBS et al 'news' sources puke our 24/7 - yet NEVER reveal any of the TRUTHs contained in the Mueller Report.
YOU were the ones "surprised" that Mueller found that Trump had zero collusion with the Russian - NOT what your pet fake news spent 2+ years leading you to believe by calling him TRAITOR - PUTIN's PUPPET - DICTATOR - etc.
It was YOU that was surprised that the ONLY 'russian' contacts the Trump campaign had with 'russians' were the SPYs that the Obama DOJ/FBI/CIA/NSA sent trying to ENTRAP them into doing "something" wrong.
As for your stupid assertion of 'being afraid' to be interviewed by the Weismann perjury trap cabal is pure bullshite. tHere was NO REASON to be interviewed by Mueller's perjury trap team. - He had answered every pertinent question that Mueller had - and Mueller himself said that 'we had everything we needed' = thus revealing that the only reason for an interview was to 'find something' irrelevant to charge perjury about -
Mueller already KNEW there was no collusion - The ONLY reason for the interview would be to entrap someone about a meaningless factoid.
Now - let us examine the "intelligent" things you have posted that need to be 'countered"

That's right brainwashed lemming, just call anything you don't agree with "fake news." And you people have the gall to treat the Trump state-owned media, Fox (Faux) News as real "news." You people are jokes.
Yeah, okay. You and the rest of the true "lemmings" need to break free of the chains and get off the plantation. Think for yourself for a change, how about that?

I find it hard to believe any of these "random person interviewed by partisan outlet" stories. The state of Journalism is just terrible right now, on all fronts.

My mother-in-law is a flaming liberal who watches nothing but MSNBC. She has no clue about the FISA abuses, or any of the facts that are currently being investigated by the DOJ inspector general or AG Barr. She still doesn't know that the Steel dossier was bought and paid for. She literally knows nothing but orange man bad.
See, I can play this game too. The non-existent self-awareness of the left is truly mind boggling. It is a perfect example of pot meeting kettle.

That comment alone cements that Amash, in becoming the first and only Republican to call for impeachment, is fighting against an entire machine — from the elected leaders to sympathetic media outlets.
Outlets like Fox News have played a central role in the Trump presidency.
These two things right here shows how terribly out of touch this writer is.

CNN koi pond bullshite. You can't trust what should be an "objective fact".

/\ THIS /\ I don't put any stock in ANY of the random interviews with unknown people - even when they come from conservative friendly sites.
Don't care one whit what some unknown person with unknown credentials and unknown motives 'says" they 'think" about any pertinent issue.

Well, there's her first problem right there, listening exclusively to the Trump state-run media, aka Fox (Faux) News.
For instance, I can recall Fox attacking Bush-43 from his Right. We do not see them doing much of the same to Trump, who realistically is not much (if any) to the Right of Bush-43.

If the author is going to make up bullshite, at least make it believable
So this "Republican" woman is all of a sudden surprised to hear "negative" things about a guy who has (1) been talked about and bashed INCESSANTLY for nearly 5 years straight and (2) was a VERY public figure for over 3 decades prior to that?
Amash is a self-aggrandizing tool who's trying to find a niche as the "Republican" who hates Trump. Good for him. He's finding a way to stand out from the other 435 bozos in the House. He'll get regular gigs on the media outlets representing the "voice of Republican's"

Again, “story selection.”.
This is the basis of the complaint - There are 300,000,000 'stories' out there - so you can weave whatever UNTRUTH you want by selectively cherry picking "facts' from that mass of data.
A true journalist would be looking to challenge stories they hear to qualify them for the precious few minutes of air time they provide. If all they do is rush to publish stories that they agree with - that is the same as them just making shite up.
You could dominate the airwaves with people with 'stories' that proclaim Obama was a Kenyan born 'manchurian candidate' who kidnapped puppies and fed them to his pet alligators IF that was the 'news' you wanted your audience to hear non-stop every hour every day every week - - - -
Biased news is the norm now - There are very few mass media outlets that even bother to report the "other side of the story" which is being spewed non-stop from the majority of the MSM about "trump bad"
FNC is the primary source of the "other side of the story" and their appeal would diiminish if the OTHER side was the least bit honorable.
BUt they are not honorable - they are ONLY interested in 'stories' and opinion that support THEIR pre-conceived conclusions.
