It took them this long to determine money was missing? I have no doubt it could be true but he has been BLASTED in the news lately due to his social media comments and Confederate appearances.

I have no clue about this case, but Daryl Bailey is a complete clown. I had friends in law school interview to work in that office for a summer and Daryl and his interviewers showed up to the law school on the wrong day.

Ohhhhhh boy, lots to unpack here and avoid a TL;DR. I Live in Prattville and he is my state rep. The SOCV he is in is also loosely connected to a group out of Selma called “Friends of Forrest”. I have worked in Selma for 25 years and lived in Prattville for 55. All that to say, I know a little about this thing. Mr. Dismukes attended a Friends of Forrest event. He was called out about it, he doubled down. He was asked by people in both parties to resign, he told them to pound sand. He left his job a couple of years ago to start his own company on direct competition to his former employer. They big mad. Former employer does mucho state contract work. There is rumored undercurrent that this is a power play to get a certain up and coming young female Republican who just lost an election, appointed by Mee Maw. Mr. Dismukes certainly lacks good judgement. Mr. Dismukes is a dead man walking in terms of his political career. He is not the racist monster, not criminal being portrayed
TL;DR, there is a whole lot more to this story. He is dumb, but not a crook or racist.

Anyone with a brain knew this was fake news. The former employer sounds like the real criminal. That article by al.com was garbage. They would say Nathan Bedford Forrest but instead “1st leader of the KKK” because they were purposely trying to demonize him. I bet this guy is an idealist who wouldn’t play ball with the POS’s in the state house.

Mrs. Flamethrower? I figured she'd turn up again soon. Her husband was one of the biggest wastes of time to ever grace the Alabama Senate...tied to the Luther Strange, Riley mafia. It smells like a GOP hit job. Dismukes comes from a lot of money. I'm not sure why even someone with his lack of political sense would be mixed up in petty crime.
