Governor is a step down from Senator in my humble opinion.

He hates Washington. He'll basically be retired sitting in the governor's office for 8 years.

Nor Senator. Just ask Schiff and his double residency

As long as he is proactive and not looking to just ride out his term(s). There are a lot of fairly simple things he could do that meemaw would never think to do. Just a bit of forward thinking would make a huge difference.

I’d be interested to see how he would do. As silly as it sounds, I could see him being a former Auburn head coach hurting him with a significant number of Alabama voters.

Rick Perry and Greg Abbott won overwhelming support despite being outspoken about A&M and Texas.

Despite my avatar, Anne Richards and her baby killing daughter can suck it.

You are not from here. Even Alabama fans like Tubs. He's one of the good ones.

I know one thing for certain, if Tubs was Governor during COVID, businesses wouldn't be shut down and employees wouldn't have to carry "papers" just to go to work!

If I lived in AL, I would vote for whoever would finish widening Highway 158 between MS and Saraland.

Ainsworth is probably livid or wanted the senate seat anyway.

In some ways, yes, but there are only 50 governors.
