Plausible.
No, not plausible. The lines in that Kharkiv region were held very thinly by national guard and Luhansk militias. That is why the collapse was so quick. 1st Guards Tank Army was not there. Propaganda. Just bear in mind almost everything coming out of Ukraine is a lie.
Now I would be watching for news on "Bucha" style massacres and executions because I have no doubt that is on going now.

I know, it's beyond most of your reading and comprehension levels.

Russia's airforce has never achieved air superiority over the battlefield, why is one of the big questions of the war.
Don't understand this either, which makes me question the truth of any real information. Yes, Russia is an artillery-based army, but geez, Ukraine had what? 50 planes?

ETA: Russia launched their invasion with about 75% to 80% of their available Army.
This is another "fact" that I have seen floating around that again makes me doubt information. As I recall, Russia invaded with 150-200K troops. Did they increase their troop numbers? Prior to the invasion, Russia had about 850,000 active-duty troops and another 250,000 reservists, so basically 1.1 million troops. Did Russia deploy 750-800K troops to this fiasco? If so, when did this occur?

Big guy is getting his 10%. Ammunition, missiles, boots, etc... All have to be replenished. The political class gets richer every time a hammer drops.

3 months radio silence.
Probably because nothing of any substance was happening for those three months. The war has been stalemated since March/April.

No way, this is propaganda to keep the money and arms flowing from the US taxpayer.

Thats across all branches of their military, Army, Navy, Airforce, etc...
I just googled the size of the russian army and found this article from the start of the war.
https://www.euronews.com/next/2022/02/24/how-does-ukraine-s-army-size-up-to-the-russian-war-machine-the-numbers-make-for-grim-readi
From the Article
quote:
Russia's army has about 280,000 personnel and its combined armed forces total about 900,000, while its 2,840 battle tanks outnumber Ukraine's by more than three to one, according to the London-based International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS).
Keep in mind that there are two tiers to Russia's army. You have the long-term professional troops such as Airborne or the 1st Guards Tank Army. Then you have a whole lot of conscripts who round out the ranks. The conscripts serve a 12-month term. They don't receive the same kind of training that our troops receive.
ETA: In the US military, we rely heavily on the NCO ranks. We spend lots of time and money training them to use initiative in battle and not have to rely on a top down command structure. The Russian military is the exact opposite. They don't have an NCO corp like we do. All the leadership comes from the officers in a top-down approach. This makes their formations have issues in combat.

OK...that makes more sense if true. The article I read said the Russian Army, specifically had 850K active-duty troops, plus the 250K reservists, plus the conscripts of every 18-33 yo.

Another factor that impacted Russia negatively is that most of their units were undermanned at the start of the war. The units that were supposed to have 1000 men in them had less. Its been a few months but I read some articles discussing this. Some of those units only had 50 to 60% of their supposed combat power.
What was happening was the officers were over-reporting their readiness levels in men and equipment. On paper, they looked bigger than they turned out to be.
Here is an article discussing the makeup of Russia's army and the challenges it has.

I promise you if an entire Guards Army had been destroyed, the prisoner haul would dwarf 10,000 men.
