The Big Beautiful Bill will still allow congress to blow through their additional $4 trillion debt ceiling expansion while adding another $4-6 trillion to the already staggering $37 trillion US debt over the next 4 years.

Will we see any balanced budgets/surpluses under Trump's next admin?

If so, how do you think he gets there?
Looking at his platform and I don't see how we don't continue the annual increase in deficit/debt.

Does it matter? You gotta start some where.

How will our annual deficit be affected by the BBB?
Will the BBB add to our insane debt?

That's not what the man said. Read.

I'd like to see a lot more cuts. We're reducing the rate of growth, which is still not good. We need to stop the rate of growth.
The purported "largest" spending cuts are also made in absolute terms (over 10 years no less) and not in relative terms.
How does this rank in terms of % of spending?

I don’t have TDS. I happily voted for Trump. My politics are this: I’m fine paying for past generations decadence and mistakes if it means I can bear the brunt of the consequences and at least give my kids a chance at starting over responsibly.

Read moron. If reading is too hard, click the play button and listen.
You few have a bad habit of being intentionally stupid.
You are not going to get what you claim to want in 1 bill. It's going to take time.

I dont give a shite what he says. Congress continues to raise the debt ceiling and borrow more money. Print it as well. Both parties are to blame.

so a bunch of deficit spending during trump's reign, then someone else is supposed to do all the heavy lifting. pretty on brand

You are being intentionally SLOW. Again, we have a spending issue. The cuts we want are not going to happen in 1 bill. It's not going to happen in 1 budget.
Just like the out of control spending did not get like this over night.

they cut 163 billion in discretionary spending......and added it all back in the military which is now a trillion dollars and probably 400 billion too much.
A couple of years ago it was 750 billion and the military said there was 100 billion in waste, so probably 200 billion. That puts you at 550 billion with inflation maybe 600 billion.
f-35 program is projected (we know how projections go) to be 800 billion over budget and the govt was so pissed they fined rayethon 30 million.....hows that for an roi
Whole world has shifted to drones and we are building 238 million dollar planes.

The possible bad: This isn't slated to go into effect until 2029, which gives Democrats a LOT of time to win enough seats to repeal it in some future Congress.
Why does government vote on things and say, put in place ten years from now? how stupid is that? All it means to me is that there is no D or R and it's one big club and they allow themselves to get wins and losses but time to change losses to wins down the road. It's disgusting.
