Founding fathers didn't want a state sponsored religion. IMHO

I mean, that's exactly what she said. And threw shade on Jefferson's letter.
You didn't watch the video. You saw what the MSM posted, and you did what you were told. You also did what every single other news outlet did and posted the exact same thing, verbatim, as a dozen or so other media stories. Curious how they all post the same article WORD FOR WORD.

In the other hour, did she defend refuting Jefferson's letter? Or his stance?
I don’t make a habit of teaching pigs to sing.

She wasn't calling for it. She was calling for people to speak out against evil in politics. Bayoublitz and the media strangely removed all context.

That’s exactly what Boebert is advocating for. Good catch. She is proposing that Cornerstone Church of Basalt, Colorado takes over D.C.
Thank God we have someone of your perspicacity in this thread.

Meaning, when the State (fedgov) is corrupt and evil, we must speak out (overturning Roe) no matter what it costs, and that the righteousness of Christianity is what rules the world, not bureacracies.
She didn't say speak out. She said "direct." And she said she's tired the separation of church and state "junk".

This may be the dumbest interpretation of the first amendment that I have ever seen. Kudos.
If you are trying to appear as the "intelligent" one, you should probably address the points of the post you quoted instead of resorting to personal attacks. If this were an actual debate, you would have lost before you even started.

Exactly how much of her speech did you watch?

Politicians play to their audience. In this case, a Church.
I mean the head coach of LSU isnt going to go to a bunch of LSU donors and say we are going to suck this year even if we will.

Looking at the state of things in this country...how could putting faith in God ahead of faith in government be a bad thing?
You're right, those are the only two options.
Both the left and the right get so carried away with momentum, until the pendulum swings back and hits them in the balls.

Everything she said in your OP is factually accurate. Separation of church and state was not intended to be used in the way it's used today. Like firing school teachers and coaches for praying or leading a prayer.

True.

Not a lynchpin issue for me. I’ll allow her to be wrong a time or two.
It’s peanuts compared to the corrupt & incompetence going on in DC now.
I don’t like it & i suspect she’s pandering… not in my state. Don’t care.

In case anyone didn't pick up on it yet, Bayoublitz posted this media creation because Boebert beat the shite out of her opponent in the primary, 65% - 35%. The left is melting over this, because her actions are being confirmed by her constituents and she is gaining momentum and votes. That is all.

That sounds pretty extreme, however the government can't endorse a religion but people of faith can serve in the government. I don't see how 1A can mean that those people have to leave their religion at home when they perform their duties.
