How many morons voted for Lauren?
More than 81 million or less?

No. Just read excerpts inna half dozen different places, all containing identical quotes.
Did you notice how those half dozen different places have word for word identical articles?

Someone linked the video in an earlier post.
"But it was only 12 seconds out of a 2 hour speech."
Lol.

So you think this is a coordinated effort to spread a fake story?
OK
We will see whether (a) she denies it and/or (b) video surfaces. My money is on (b).
EDIT TO ADD
Here is the video. I can think of very few things more nauseating than listening to that dimwit for more than an hour, so you can certainly take a look at it at it and let us know whether all those media outlets are falsifying that quote.

I think what she meant is that the people who make up the church (as well as all citizens) are supposed to direct the government. I don't think this was an actual call for the church organization to be directing the government.

Yeah. The other hour gives context as to what she is addressing when she says “church” and “government” and when the church should direct the government.
She was directly addressing churches being shut down (in opposition to the 1st Amendment) for Covid restrictions. And that it happened because there wasn’t an Esther who went to the King and broke the law to stand up for her people.
You’re borderline retarded. But I’m posting for the rest of the thread readers.

I mean, that's exactly what she said. And threw shade on Jefferson's letter.

The quotes happen around 1:27:00 in.

Why aren’t you ever in threads when your people are saying shite like build back better is going to bring down inflation?
Or whenever it came out that Trump didn’t collude with Russia?
Or whenever Hunter is laundering money through art?
Or when AOC took pictures with a professional photographer at the border?

Not a great idea. Liberal churches should not govern anything much like liberal individuals.

She has to have just said the wrong words, right?
Like, she believes religion can influence the government.

She’s speaking in a non-denominational independent church and I believe she attends one as well.
It’s unclear how Cornerstone Church of Basalt, Colorado (which appears to number about 100 people) would take over the Federal Government.
But there are some mighty scared people about it in this thread.

In the other hour, did she defend refuting Jefferson's letter? Or his stance?

Jeffersons letter was to a group of baptists.
It has no more meaning to the bill of rights than does the declaration of independence.

Wrong. Majority of Christians agree with what she said. So 808 gave us the link.
LINK
She starts speaking at the 37 minute mark. The comment is at the 1:26:30 mark through 1:27:45 i believe.
As with all liberals, all of the context is stripped out.
So what Lauren is saying right before this, she is referencing Ester in the Bible. Lauren was talking about the call to action, and Esther said "i won't remain silent any longer".
LINK
quote:
“There is a certain people dispersed among the peoples in all the provinces of your kingdom who keep themselves separate. Their customs are different from those of all other people, and they do not obey the king’s laws; it is not in the king’s best interest to tolerate them. If it pleases the king, let a decree be issued to destroy them, and I will give ten thousand talents of silver to the king’s administrators for the royal treasury.” So the king took his signet ring from his finger and gave it to Haman…, the enemy of the Jews. “Keep the money,” the king said to Haman, “and do with the people as you please”
quote:
Dispatches were sent by couriers to all the king’s provinces with the order to destroy, kill and annihilate all the Jews — young and old, women and children — on a single day, …and to plunder their goods
Esther speaks out against the King's plan, knowing the penalty was death. God intervened and saved the Jews and Esther. The moral of the story, is that by not speaking out against evil, you could condemn the innocent.
Therefore, Lauren stated that the Church should govern, not the state. Meaning, when the State (fedgov) is corrupt and evil, we must speak out (overturning Roe) no matter what it costs, and that the righteousness of Christianity is what rules the world, not bureacracies.
I'm going to bet that no one here watched the full video.
