Remember When Jesus was racist?

I remember Shaun King and BLM members saying the statues and etc had to come down.
Now, they are taking the head off Mary.

Last week, in Queens, New York, a statue of the Virgin Mother was desecrated with spray paint.
Just a few days ago, in Boston, a statue of the Virgin Mary was set on fire.
Just a few days ago, in Ocala, Florida, a 23-year-old man was charged “after detectives say he plowed a minivan through the front door of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ocala, doused the foyer with gasoline and set it on fire, causing extensive damage.”
On June 19, June 20, and July 4, statues of St. Junipero Serra were toppled in three California cities.
On July 11, the sacred Catholic mission of San Gabriel, a mission founded 249 years ago by Serra — the left’s latest target as a racist colonialist (fact check: he was not) — was decimated by a fire that is under investigation for arson.

I'm fine with destroying violations of the 2nd commandment but I am not OK with the reasoning for it. It's purely an attack on Christianity.

Are there not almost daily threads on this August board about how awful the Pope is and how rotten the Catholic Church is? Pedo Church, and other such names?
Why would this Board start to defend the Catholic Church now when there was never any kind of support for it on this board before? Isn't that just a bit hypocritical?
If you think that the Catholic Church is sending its followers to Hell, don't decry it's destruction. If you think that the Catholic Church creates and protects kiddie -diddler Priests, is it hypocritical to now decry its destruction?
If you think that a statue of Mary or some other religious figure is a form of Idolatry, shouldn't you be cheering the beheading of a statue of Mary?
Are my questions worth discussing? Or are we merely led from moment-to-moment wherever the Emotion of the Moment takes us?
Is the Catholic Church a totally wrong and distorted form of Christianity that does not Save Souls or not? If so, then why decry its destruction?
Are Catholic statues Idols or not? If so, why decry the destruction of these Idols?
Just trying to inject some Logic into these threads that decry the burning of Catholic Churches and the destruction of Catholic statues.
Maybe convert the Catholics over to the right religion FIRST and then let them destroy their own Idols? What if they don't convert to the correct religion?

I beg to differ. One of the vandals wrote the word "Idol" on the Mary statue, so, you should be fine with the destruction of ALL of these Idols.
What about the people who worship these idols in their churches? Why is it wrong to destroy these houses of Idol Worship?

I do not however believe in vandalism of sacred places like Churches, Catholic or Protestant. Some vandals burned down a Pentecostal Church in Holly Springs Ms. They have not been bought to justice yet. This will increase just as the Bible said. I hope in my heart this doesn’t happen
