Thank you for inept understanding of the internet.
Please tell us next on how best to build rocket engines.

in 2012 internet was classified as an information service, with rules that ISP's honor the principles of net neutrality. In 2014 Verizon sues the FCC (because Netflix) and the ruling holds that net neutrality principles are not enforceable by the FCC with out Title II common carrier public utility status. In 2015 FCC moves internet from an information service back to Title II common carrier public utility in an effort to maintain net neutrality. So in 2012 ISP's were not allowed to, but after today's vote, they will be allowed to discriminate or charge differently by user, content, website, platform, application, etc. FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER. Acting like we are returning to 2012 is extremely misleading. Yes we are returning from Title II to an information service, but for the first time we have a legal precedent that ISP's are not required to honor net neutrality.

Net Nuetrality is about free market growth and technology. If an ISP makes no real money expanding its network because Netflix, YouTube etc is going to canabalize it, then why would they continue to spend billions to lay fiber and improve technology. They would just be funding all of the content delivery companies.
Here..have some more bandwidth to make a bunch of f’ing money while the govt turns ISPs into a commodity.
There will be new entry if ISPs do that....wrong - google is loaded and they realize giving customers high speed is not a money maker. It’s hard, expensive etc.
So remove NN and let the free market work. Maybe the big content providers will continue to make deals, partnerships etc with the ISPs. Bottom line - you can’t shite in a toilet and never pay for the sewage.

So the laws exist to handle this...before NN.
Thanks for proving the point
pretty sure he's wrong. Netflix had to pay Comcast because Comcast elected to stop opening new ports as was the industry norm at the time. It's basically a shake down and has become a pro-NN talking point

Never heard of Google Fiber? The problem they are having is getting sued by other ISPs.. not it being hard or expensive.

When data caps are everywhere and your ISP throttles your upload traffic.
They're already allowed to do that.

Facts and CptBengal have a really rocky relationship. He avoids them where he can. They tend to make him look bad and that is triggering.

Remember when AT&T blocked FaceTime? I don't, because I think facetime is a load of shite. But other people do.

Remember in 1642 when there were no restrictions on phone companies or cable TV. Man those were the days of flourishing TV content without regulations. Remember that?
