Republicans have an innate ability to snatch defeat from the clutches of victory. I won’t hold my breath.

Is good news if those who move there change the way they vote. If they do not, red turns purple turns blue.

And this doesn’t even factor in the extra seats being gained now with new maps. This country is more red than has been shown solely because of MSM lies and stolen elections.

Oklahoma has grown a lot and yet red has gained registered voters while blue has not. That was my fear but so far its opposite. People moving in are registering red in huge numbers over blue. I went to the state website that shows the actual data earlier this year and was shocked at the data

And good, ol' fashioned Democrat racism.

I am willing to believe that.

Get out of the city centers and out of government housing. Get into the suburbs and surrounding areas and it does seem to the casual viewer that most people are red or at least pinkish.

Special session for a post-Callais redistricting for 2028 elections happens the day after the runoff elections in June.

Crazy that SC isn't projected to gain any.

Same thing is happening here in SC.

The number of registered Republicans is growing at an insane rate while registered Democrat growth is hovering around 1%-2%.

Now, with that said, SC needs to close our primaries. Because, imho, a number of democrats are registering as Republicans rather than independents and even more democrats crossover to vote for RINOs such as Lindsey Graham. That makes for a problem in races like for our AG where a long time democrat David Pascoe is now running as a Republican. He's in Greenville where a lot of these transplants are moving.

It's just a matter of time before someone comes along who claims to be a moderate democrat (like the Marxo Commie CIA gal up in VA) and the open primary system allows said moderate to be elected due to crossover votes.

Yeah, Georgia is no better off in that regard.

Redistricting doesn't impact the Electoral College.

Tennessee has 11 electoral votes because they have 9 Representatives and two Senators. No matter how they redistrict they will still have 9 Representatives. Have to wait for the census and reapportionment before the number of reps and electoral votes goes up or down.

So how do we stop states from joining the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact and going with popular vote winner instead of EC? Because that is their work around.

Ultimately, some state AG with brass balls will sue one of the NPVIC states and SCOTUS will nuke the popular vote nonsense.

I hope that happens before the Dems gain power again because when they do, they will expand the SC and it will be left for a generation.

I know that. Its a one two punch. Gaining red seats for congress and then in 2030 gaining electoral votes. Thats a huge deal.

Electoral only seats the POTUS, and without both house does nothing alone. The redistricting is helping us gain red seats.
