Good analogy. FWIW, I appreciate that stance:

Here's what I think, but I don't know everything. What do you know that I don't know? Let's compare thoughts. Maybe you will change my mind.

President Trump being on the campaign trail this month is going to help, too. He's holding a rally in San Antonio tomorrow.

The Republican Party leaves a lot to be desired, but Democrats are an outright threat to the country.

Is Red Eagle the one that uploads "My SHOCKING election prediction" on Youtube every four days for a six month period?

I just cannot envision a statewide republican losing in Texas.

But I don't follow Texas politics that closely.

I have always tried to meet energy with similar energy if someone wants to have a honest discussion with me I can do that;

I prefer to do that

If someone wants to have a fight and a stupid, pointless, immature argument with me, I can do that too

and i can do it well

and it makes me laugh

There is a reason Abbott isn't going to it and it is not scheduling conflicts

Trump is deadweight outside of his base

The biggest disconnect I see is people trying to extrapolate the GOP primary to the general election.

Because it ignores the DEM primary….
the D's had HUGE numbers turn out in thr primary

and before a couple of idiots come in and say but blacks aren't gonna vote for talerico and all the blacks came out in the primary to vote for Jasmine And before a couple of idiots come in and say but blocks aren't gonna vote for Talerico and all the blacks came out in the primary to vote for Jasmine

The AA vote in Texas might reach historic numbers

But local Republicans might keep half of those who voted for Trump in 24
Not because they love the Republicans so much, but because black men are increasingly getting sick and tired of democrat female candidates

rachet has been a term used often

THE ECONOMY SUCKS ?

I wonder why the markets continue to make new highs each day ? Do you ever think before making such ignorant comments ?
Okay, my expenses are up 3% this year. My earnings will be up about 30%.
I’ll take this every year.

But the average American who rents
the average American who struggles to get to the next paycheck
The average American who deals with food costs
The average American who's paying more at the pump

and yes, even if they're misspending money and have high credit card rates

all that may be true but they still feel what they feel

and they vote

When Clinton won with his "It's the economy, stupid "the economy was actually rebounding under Bush

This conversation on this board is not about actual numbers It's about politics. But in elections, facts are not always the determining factor; how people feel about things is what determines elections

Trump dominated in 24 because he connected with how people felt

How do people feel now?

When that little gay boy wins

Reminds me of 2016 when the non-thinking class had anointed Hillary.

The images of all those bitter, shrill absolute beeches crying in the convention hall while their hero hid in her green room backstage still warms my Grinch heart.

The most entertaining element of these events is watching the leftist pseudo intellectuals convince themselves that they will prevail and their looks of disappointment when their house of astroturf cards falls.

From AI

Summary Verdict
If you are looking for accurate, objective, and non-partisan news, Red Eagle Politics is not considered an accurate or unbiased source. However, if you are looking to understand the specific arguments, data points, and optimism driving the populist-conservative base, they accurately reflect that wing of political commentary. For objective election analysis, it is best to cross-reference their claims with non-partisan aggregators or counter-weighted sources.

You do realize that he was not the 1st president to declare Iran should never have a nuclear weapon. He was the 1st to have the balls to make it happen. The economy isn't doing particularly well, but we know it will bounce back because he has the right policies in place. The Dems have no answer. It's just "Trump" this and that. Gay boy will lose.

NOBODY in the real world (Not Podcast/X world but real world) gives a flying frick about the Iran conflict.. When gas prices plummet in a few weeks, it will be a fart in the wind.

Evaluating the "accuracy" of OWLFAN86 on the TigerDroppings Political Talk board is subjective, as they function as an active political commentator rather than a "source" breaking insider news or dropping exclusive leaks.
Registered since June 2004 with nearly 200,000 posts across the platform, OWLFAN86's User Profile shows they are one of the most prolific and long-standing posters on the site. haha
When assessing their presence on the political board, users typically look at two different aspects:
1. Technical Data & Demographic Analysis (High Accuracy)
When it comes to analyzing redistricting, census data, maps, and historical voting demographics, OWLFAN86 is generally viewed as highly accurate and deeply knowledgeable.
• They frequently break down specific data points, such as explaining how a Texas state legislative redistricting shift changes the underlying voting base of a congressional district (e.g., analyzing demographic shifts in TX-09).
• Their technical explanations of how maps are drawn, how districts change between election cycles, and how past voting patterns dictate current baselines are rooted in real electoral data and math rather than pure speculation.
2. Political Commentary & Polling Interpretations (Subjective)
Like any prominent poster on a heavily polarized message board, their accuracy rating on predictions and political opinions depends entirely on the reader's own perspective.
• OWLFAN86 frequently offers realist or occasionally contrarian takes relative to the board’s general consensus, such as interpreting internal polling and warning partisans when a poll indicates a bad trend for their preferred side.
• Because they focus on analyzing existing public and internal polls rather than masquerading as a political operative with "inside info," their commentary is judged on how their electoral outlooks age by election day.
Ultimately, OWLFAN86 is not a "rumor-monger" whose accuracy can be rated on a true/false scale. Instead, they are a data-driven analyst whose structural and demographic breakdowns are highly accurate, while their subjective political predictions are subject to the standard ebb and flow of changing political tides.

Owl, I wasn't on PoliBoard until 2024. Prior to Trump was the Board more open to honest, objective discussion?

Just wondering if the Roy Cohn tactics of our President are followed by some of his supporters.

hell no

Back in the day, all the political talk was on the OT and it was just me and Slo Flo arguing back and forth with him coming up with shite he learned that day in class .. but he was learning

And again I've said before, I've been consistent with this I like Trump I like what he's doing I also understand why it's been effective, and I understand if he's not the candidate, he loses a tremendous amount of his effectiveness

That's not his fault I'm not blaming him that's just how politics and elections work
