This thread is so reflective of the shitty attitudes that are pervasive in this state and keep it mired in 50th position nationally.

Shitty governor who has abused his authority and deserves removal, but hey, he won fair and square.

all other responses are apathetic and defeatist at best.

No wonder everyhing here sucks arse. I thought it was largely on the governmnet. But no, its mostly the citizens

This recall petition is useless, as long as you understand that. It has no chance of success. No one's attitude on the internet will change that.

You want to recall a governor that’s actually trying to save lives, but will support a President that’s had 200k Americans die on his watch? Republican logic never ceases to amaze me

So when lives in Louisiana are saved you’ll give JBE the credit, but when lives are lost you blame Trump. Democrat logic never ceases to amaze me.

They will need nearly 16 times that number of registered voters to sign a recall petition, all with their current addresses, and those addresses will need to match the one for them in the voter registrar, and they have like 60 days to gather all the signatures.

Yes. People have been fired because enough twitter accounts did a hashtag. I was saying you arent far off from what actually happens

From what I have read he has followed the directives of the White House.

You are as bad as the "orange man bad" morons.

Which is what? That people are dismissive of something that has no reasonable chance of success?

Did you expect people to be overwhelmingly supportive?

in this state? hell no. I expect people to bitch about the status quo and enable it to continue.
Everything thats ever been done was accomplished with the exact attitude that none of it matters and it will never happen.

Each parish has their own page as well where you can find dates and times to sign the petition. I will be going to sign it in Ascension in a couple of hours.

All the dickheads who stayed home on Election Day because Rispone was a big meanie to Abraham can go frick themselves. That was the chance to recall him. The man won fair and square, he deserves his four years.

I am still not convinced that the election wasn't stolen. NOLA conveniently comes in last and gives that a-hole just enough to win.

Dumbfricks, unless you can get your name onto the official form to be filed at the Sec. Of State office, this is like jerking off and fantasizing about a woman instead of getting with a real woman and doing work.

The FB group is an effort to get people in each parish to sign the official form to be filed at the Sec of State office. He's a LINK to the official form. You can print out page 2 and get all of your friends to sign it. They just ask that a separate page is used for each parish.

Not quite. They will need to get 20% of ~3,020,000, which is a little over 600,000 registered voters. If each of the people in that group got 9 people to sign the petition, it would be enough.

180 days from when it was first filed with the secretary of state.

Considering our governor and legislature opted to NOT do anything. Except screw us all over.
