Trump takes these conservative stands but then he caves. He spends like a liberal.

My thought is that he was put in place by liberals for liberals. They attack him, idiots on the right defend him and all of the liberal stuff just keeps sliding on through.

Washington is full of politicians who talk a big conservative game but fail to deliver.

I think its funny how you think any other "normal" Republican would turn out any different. 16 "real" conservatives ran for president in 2016 and none got close to winning the nomination

Rush talked about this last week when a caller called in saying we need to replace Trump with a real conservative for 2020. Rush said that if this were to happen(it wont) the "real" conservative would not do any better on the deficit because congress is ultimately what drives spending and there are not enough fiscal conservatives in the Republican party to ever cut spending.

In a perfect world, I'd like a reincarnated Calvin Coolidge in the White House.

In the real world, you'd probably do better to focus your ire on the House and Senate.

When one party does not control both houses it’s damn near impossible to get anything passed without making concessions.

I think you've hit upon something. Liberals like Pelosi, Schumer, The Squad, NYT, NBC News....they are all just pretending that they don't like Trump. How could we fall for the charade!

Because most Republicans are closet democrats. It doesn't matter if you have the most fiscally conservative person in the world in the oval office, as long as most Republicans are spending kings/queens, spending will never be cut

Yeah, Trump has been better than any Conservative we could have had. The only criticism in his merits may be the debt, which is 90% Social Programs. So unless you have someone coming in and doing away with Medicare and Social Security, he’s the best option.

Did I type that? How do you know what I think? I think that nearly all republicans are liberals. Democrats are socialists. My whole point is kind of centered around the fact that we do not have a conservative in the WH and we haven't for quite some time.

Trump was never a small-government conservative. The only one of those (with half a chance) who ran last time was Cruz. I voted for him in the primary but I knew than and know now that he'll never win a presidential election. But if you think liberals wanted Trump to run I've got an island full of young teen women to sell you. He is WAY more conservative than Hillary and at least as conservative as either Bush.

I've not seen a conservative in the WH like you're describing in my lifetime, FWIW. The budget grew under Reagan too.

That’s why you have a responsibility to vote for the third party Socialist candidate in every election. Spread the news.

What are the countries that are employing a system of multiple parties, who are doing all this stuff much better than us?
