No, both our opinions are valid, I am just saying that the opening assertion of this thread is disproven by many subreddits that are quite politics free. You can just go to the reddits for sports teams and fishing and cooking and never see the word Trump or Biden mentioned unless it is in context (like Trump to attend Super Bowl posts on a sports board).

I’m not sure who is the “modern left”.
It just seems like the traditional Right lost its mind
from roughly 2000 to 2015 and gave birth to MAGA(actually a younger outgrowth of the TeaParty) and was nurtured behind the scenes by big money interests and, significantly, the fossil fuels industry( if you research deeply enough, you’ll find that it’s true.)

Nothing is safe on Reddit. I used to visit Reddit CFB but the mods are all liberal basement dwellers, and the majority of the posters are too.
Plus, the format of Reddit sucks. Give me a good old message board that is easy to sort through.
