How many?
Great question. I can’t keep up because it’s happening so frequently.

Very surprising answer.
You sound like you have really worked through this issue.

“It wasn’t indiscriminately. They were probationary employees.”
If that was the criteria did their skills change so they are not probationary now..
You realize probationary federal employees is not always due to job performance but time on the job.. usually less than one year… can you think of any new federal employees that also fit that description?

Do you think the fact that so many have been asked back so quickly shows that the firings were carefully thought out? Seems to prove they were capricious.
Show me the 180 emails.
Oh you can’t?
Could be 300, could be 30.

Sounds very official. “Not completely true.”
A bunch of people who took promotions or changed jobs/titles were given the axe and they were called "probationary". It was and is an ongoing clusterfrick.

Post the threads you started over Biden's vaccine mandate. The one Biden himself admitted was likely unconstitutional, the one that was ultimately ruled to be unconstitutional.
*crickets*
S'what I figured.

I do realize that.
If you’re running a company that is hemorrhaging cash, who gets fired first?

No, each individual firing was not carefully thought out. We'd be paralyzed if we did that. This is a hatchet, the carving tools come later. If you use the carving tools right now you'll never get anywhere.

That is what the CDC did. they let 13 hundred go. they realized they needed 180 of the 1,300 back.
CDC followed thoughtless orders and was able to convince the First Buddy that they couldn’t actually afford to lose the number of employees he told them to fire.

You’re just regurgitating talking points now. If a person takes a promotion or transfer in the Federal government where their previous position is related, they do not have to go through a probationary period.
You knew that right?

What government employees are okay to layoff in your eyes? Any? What DOGE cuts do you agree with? Explain.

Are employees hired en masse like they are being fired? How can an agency have the manpower to carefully consider hiring someone but not enough manpower to carefully consider firing them?

No sir. I know it for a fact. Of course, you will say I'm a liar and probably call me names, but that's okay.
And it is pretty clear you don't have a clue, but I am sure you believe you do.

Kinda. I love how you shite questions out of your mouth thinking you know the answer when you don’t.

I like that you didn’t quote the relevant portion of my post. You’re just spouting partisan bullshite and hoping someone will fall for it.

Well since you ask .. in oil business we are pretty good at laying off people..
Often we tend to not lay off the recent grad hires.. because they were good enough to get hired… and sad to say .. but they are the least expensive. Been through a few were we just flat said nope they are protected and it also would go over bad at the universities for future ..
