Genuinely cannot believe he was even tried much less convicted. Was deployed all of 2020 so I didn't see much of the riots and outrage personally, but geez. This is ridiculous.
Even more surprising is the fact that Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted. Should have never been charged in the first place, but liberal-left wing places love to make criminals the victim and go after the law-abiding citizen with the full weight of the government.

This is true, but iirc, Chauvin was convicted not of killing Floyd but for refusing to allow paramedics to administer aid.

I was so thankful he got acquitted. But like you said, never should have been charged in the first place. The Left is so Anti-American it is sad.

His knee was on the shoulder blade area and an approved restraint at the time.

That's all that needs to be said.
And yet still no pardon from Trump.

Wouldn't be able to spring him- state charges.
A federal pardon would still have potential state implications.

Ben Shapiro was on this for awhile. I can't remember exactly what he said. I think it was that it made it easier to petition for state clemency if you pardoned the federal conviction.

He’ll get pardoned before Trump leaves.

Why is he further down the list than random drug runners and execs?

I watched it. If chauvin would've died while floyd was kneeling on his neck the same way floyd would be in prison for life.

What point are you even trying to make? It's, at best, an incredibly sloppy attempt at a 1 to 1 comparison. So much so that your point doesn't make logical sense.

If chauvin died while floyd was sitting on his neck what would've happened to floyd?

A cop was killed in the town next to mine and they shut the town down to find the killer. Threw the constitution out the window, doing unlawful searches (checked my mom's trunk along with everyone else), helicopters everywhere, hundreds if not thousands of police. Two teens were killed there a couple of weeks ago and they're asking for witnesses. Its a double standard.

And again, you're attempting to make it a 1 to 1 comparison and it's ignoring a multitude of issues before we could remotely consider the reality and the hypothetical situations similar.

It's a criminal action in almost every case for a person to physically restrain an officer so to compare a situation where an officer is legally restraining a suspect to a suspect committing a crime by the very action of restraining an officer outlines the first nonsensical portion to your argument.

What does that have to do with the case you attempted to make regarding Chauvin, it's not the same thing. Also, do you have a link to the case you referenced? It's going to be hard to debate a case that you haven't posted specifics on.

Wait till after midterms, or until after 2028 elections are done, and JD is secured to follow.

This isn’t the best argument to make.

People suffering from positional restraint asphyxia can talk. They’re using the reserves of oxygen in their lungs. Which works until it doesn’t.
