Your two explanations boil down to this. Either Trump can’t release the files, or he won’t release the files because it benefits him politically.

Notice what neither explanation says - that he has released everything.

So we’ve gone from “trust Trump” to “the Deep State beat him” or “he’s protecting people.” Those are excuses, not evidence.

I don’t need to invent a scandal. I just look at the scoreboard. He promised transparency. The files are still incomplete and heavily redacted.

That’s the part you’re asking everyone to “deal with,” baw.

My point remains the same. Trump promised transparency, and the files are still incomplete and smaller percentage of the files that have been released are heavily redacted. Saying the Deep State stopped him or that he’s protecting people may explain your theory, but it doesn’t prove either one.

So we can leave Alan Ritchson’s mouth to Alan Ritchson and stick to what we actually know.
Trump made the promise. Trump has the power. The files still aren’t out and we are years into his second term.
