I have a lot of possessions. Which ones are demonic?
Frick, I'm worried now. I do NOT want any demonic possessions in my life right now.

“ There are lots of Asian religions/philosophies that are atheist and believe in demons”.(quote SF).
Hmm. I did not know this. As I interpret Asian Spirituality they indeed believe in a Singular Consciousness albeit with many ‘gods’. As opposed to Christianity’s definition as being a Singular but Triune Entity.
It’ll come out in the wash.

No, I didn’t. However, if you do believe that an actual supernatural entity that you call a demon actually possesses people, then I do believe that you are superstitious.

There are two exorcists in the Diocese of Springfield - Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and one of them is my parish priest. If you talked to him you would believe in demonic possession. He also told me that 98 percent of the calls he receives are from Protestants.

i'll share with you what father fred told me when i asked him that in high school at catholic high school for boys, in the 60's father fred took a sabbatical from the priesthood to work on the apollo program. "could the devil resort to possession if he wanted to, would god allow it? maybe but why would he, he steals most men's souls by simply leaving them to their own devices, why would he go to the trouble".
now go and sin no more my son.
i'm sick of the phony spiritualism of protestants james talarico is the logical conclusion of the protestant reformation.
here's your huckleberry!
you can take him and nick fuentes with you.

So “superstitious “ would be a moniker for those who acknowledge the existence of a Spiritual Paradigm? Hell, I think 99% of Humanity is superstitious. For good reason.

I am in the field of working with mental health. This is real, contrary to the belief of many. I have found, in my research, possession to be extremely rare, but oppression is not rare, while infestation is still rare also.
Yes, it’s without question difficult to work with mental health issues themselves. Yes, schizophrenics and those having a psychotic break do have auditory and visual hallucinations, often involving God and the Devil. Those such cases of those 2 conditions (for example, schizophrenia and psychotic breaks are often intertwined) I have worked with have not had a supernatural component themselves.

I don’t see how people can look at Obama and think demonic possession isn’t real. We have proof right before our very eyes.

From my limited understanding, I thought demons weren't powerful enough to possess any physical body--only influence.
So, at most, are we talking about demons influencing people's mental health when speaking of "demonic possession"?

This is kind of an "eye of the beholder" discussion.
Some people believe (are taught?) that demons can 100% control you 100%
Some people are taught what you stated
Some people are taught neither can occur

That's definitely something lacking in the Protestant side- in my old church, demons were acknowledged but more in a historical way.

“ i'm sick of the phony spiritualism of protestants…”(quote sky).
Ha ha. I’m with you there, d. Albeit all people are at different levels.
I did have a Protestant Pentecostal Preacher hit me in the forehead and holler “come out of him, Satan” back when i was on the hunt. Im not sure whether it worked or not, but it did zap all 4 of us up on the Stage. And I left in the know, which was what I was looking for.

I do not think demonic possessions are real. Psychological illness is real.
And other medical conditions. The spiritual still needs the physical to become efficacious. The laws of nature are not broken. When we say they are broken, it just means we don’t understand it.

I don't think we can use "the laws of nature" to describe demons

Never watched the Exorcist but did watch this parody instead:

There is nothing that is not “Nature”. Entanglement Theory totally undermines the known working “Laws of Nature “ but IS. It is simply that cannot currently understand the apparent contradiction.
IMO, ET is where the Spiritual and Empirical paradigms intersect. It is not a chicken or egg’ scenario as it is obvious that the Empirical can come and go, while the Spirit remains inalterable and eternal. God, as it were.

Do y’all remember that awful guy who got arrested for screaming at people in a Baptist Church in Minnesota.
Sorry. You can’t see stuff like that and not believe that people can become possessed by demons. That guy could definitely use an exorcism.
I’m not sure if it’s just getting older, but I find it difficult to look at all these technicolor overweight people and their 47 genders and not believe that demons are real.
Plus (genuinely curious) Is there a blood test or brain scan for schizophrenia? How do we know there’s not some kind of evil force that comes over them? Look at drug zombies living on sidewalks. Are they not possessed? I can’t look at that and not think there’s some darker force that has taken them over.
There’s a ceeepo in BRLA who beat up and raped his 92 yr old neighbor. Is that not demonic?
There’s real spiritual warfare out there. Jesus spent an awful lot of time casting out demons. I believe that is true - so not sure why I would believe that people aren’t still becoming possessed by them. We may attribute it to something else besides possession - but that something is usually these people being taken over by some kind of dark force. God didn’t make that, but I do believe that God can cast it out.

No doubt... Wednesday That all that you describe are Demonic. Isn't there a legion of demons that are dedicated to someone that is both male and female?
Regarding the OP video. I'd like to listen to more about this priest like many Saints his road to becoming an exorcist and a priest was very rocky... Especially being that at 11 years old he was molested by a priest...
Talk about turning things around for the good. There you go.
Also it's very interesting that the biggest Part of his exorcism evaluations is a psyche Eval. The Church Pays $2000 for.
Yet the priest goes on to say the ranks of demons on mental wards Are these demons hanging out or possession?...
I'm gonna look up the Sean Ryan interview of the other priest exorcist. Seems like there's a lot of them in Nashville TN.

It's kind of interesting how the Catholic church has priests that still perform magical rites.

Non-Belief (in God) is a vacuum, and a power. And Evil, being the ultimate and aggressive form of deception ("The Lie") will fill that vacuum if God don't.
My very young Grandchildren know Love when they feel it; as does my dog. The "technicolors" of the which you refer to would likely not pass the 'feel' test re love with my children or dogs. Neither would a lot of professing, loving and judgmental Christians.
The Lord knows and will judge, and each person's current spiritual existence IS the Judgement. We can thank Jesus for Grace and our prosperity, if indeed we are spiritually gifted. Albeit DEI ideology will be a worthy challenge, and likely a coming and painful one.
