Not my favorite member of Congress, but no, she said nothing like that in the video. She does not mention Islam. She did not call on anyone, much less "Islam" at large, to mobilize and take down the United States government in that video.

This is why you guys get worked up and believe there are conspiracies afoot. Many will go to bed tonight convinced, without the slightest bit of evidence, that Tlaib committed treason in plain sight and only a conspiracy can explain why she is not in prison. Only it isn’t true, at least not in this case.

That has the benefit of being accurate.
Is there a post on here suggesting Rep. Tlaib should tighten up her language to avoid misinterpretation? Or did the denizens of This August Forum jump straight to treason, deportation, and hanging?

For starters she didn't say what was claimed in the OP. The video is right there to see. And even with a cut up video it does not in any way show her saying what she was claimed to have said.
This is just pure emotional nonsense. What she said can be criticized on its own. There is no reason to invent nonsense.

Wonder how she will enjoy wearing that hijab, burkha, not being allowed to drive by herself, being beaten at her husband's whim, not being allowed to go anywhere without permission, being raped often, having to walk behind her husband everywhere, having to eat in a separate location, not being able to get a formal education, etc.?
