He and Trump could really form a powerhouse of a Republican Party. Trump can take it to the left with his pragmatic assault on their growing corruption and delusion while Rand can swoop in behind and leave the framework for an intellectual Republican Party built on principles.

That's some funny stuff.

It should be in all 50 states for one night in May. That makes the most sense to me before fricking over the other states who may have voted for another candidate, but now feasibly won't win the state due to them not being on the ballot

At a minimum, the states should be rotated.

Kind of amazing when you think about how this board voted in the primaries and the general.

Not really. A lot of people see what is happening in Europe coupled with the globalist movement. I would venture to say the founders could not have predicted it on this level and I would think Benjamin Franklin/Jefferson would understand patriots using alternative means to attempt to take the country back. It's either protect American sovereignty or talk about the country that once had a constitution. Yes, there is a fine line here of what we allow, and I do hope everyone on the right does not become disillusioned with everything Trump just as the left did with Obama.

Question every move. Don't accept it just because your man crush says it's the correct move. Call them out when they're wrong and keep them in check.

Yeah, the fact that Iowa for whatever reason has this much power is baffling.

I'm not so sure Rand is not correct on his reasons for voting no. I was a victim of the OPM (Office of Personnel Mgmt)hack a few yrs back and I was clueless at first when I was notified of the hack and why I was involved.

I found out when I applied for a job at a government facility that my employment application and background check was kept on file along with all my references so everybody I listed in my application and background check that required a SSN were also hacked. People this was 15 yrs after I had applied and was not hired, why in the hell is the government keeping these records indefinitely? they should be purged every 3 yrs if you're not hired.

sounds like the people whining about hillary

This act is also meaningless, dude is in, dude needs to be, is a vast improvement over brennan and anybody the bitch would have picked

This times a fricking million. I'm a trump vote by default because lets face it, anything was better than the alternative, and don't get me wrong, I'm happy he won over HRC; but make no mistake RP is one of, if not the best, people we have in Washington. I hope he makes another run in 8 years. He had my vote in the primaries and will again should he decide to run.

Rand is grandstanding because he knows Pompeo would get confirmed without him.

The libs and cucks are cheering him on but will turn on Rand again as soon as the next time comes around where he agrees with TRUMP.

Couldn't disagree more. Rand, regardless of who is singing his praises, has never struck me as the type to give a shite what others think about his ideology or the way he votes. He votes based on what he believes, and I happen to agree with him on 99% of it. Dems may like him one day and rebubs the next, but he's still going to vote his way.

The question is can we put the genie back into the bottle. No way the Feds ever stop monitoring all of us.

I mostly like Rand Paul but his paranoia in regards to security breaching our privacy is really off- putting.

I got nothing to hide. Do what you can to protect me and my fellow Americans!

Maybe congress will exercise the right to impeach if they do cross the line...
These birches were scared to hold Clinton, Kerry and other jackasses that should have been fired...

I would hope Trump keeps the Cabinet on their toes anyway

Naw. We are safer NOT having the gov breach privacy without PC or at least reasonable suspicion of crime. MAYBE agreeable if congress actually approves a justified war against a defined enemy/imminent threat, with the stipulation that this data they collect would definitively defend against attacks on US soil.

Rand is spot on with his "paranoia".

Any power that is given to the government can and will be used in a negative fashion.

Oh I'd bet you have something to hide. You should also keep in mind that what you don't need to hide today you could need to tommorow depending on new laws.

You constantly berate the other side's intelligence, and this is the intellectual response you conjure up? It doesn't even make any sense at all.

I'm glad he didn't. Would be completely inappropriate to do so.
