You are way off. Billions will die. It has already been determined by some really smart people that 70% of the world will be infected. This thing is just getting started. Wait until the coronavirus has sex with the seasonal flu viruses. The mutated offspring will have a death rate of 85% minimum. The gases released from the rotting corpses will cause an intense greenhouse effect. 98% of all flora and fauna will be lost.
The few remaining humans will cluster into small groups and eventually die off from cannibalism because so few people know how to hunt or farm, if it will even be possible at that point. Luckily, though, a single man and woman will find their way to a special bountiful tree and live there for many years until the ecosystems blossom once again. They will begin repopulation and humanity will thrive, until the coronavirus reappears 6000 years from now and the whole process repeats.

You prevent getting it in similar ways.
The differences are no vaccine.
Also lethality is going to end up 2 to 3x that of flu possibly.
Even in parts of China away from the origin, the death rate is as low as 0.5 percent.
You are twice as likely to have ards if you smoke from this thing and Chinese men are three times as likely to smoke as Americans.
I'm cautious about this thing. I respect it's ability to infect. But I don't fear it.

I don't know the numbers for the flu prior to flu shots being invented. That would be the only legit way to compare them.
I think pre-flu shot/vaccination flu is worse than corona.

You people have missed my point. It doesn't matter how many people die from this virus. It is about the over reaction the world is taking trying to contain this thing. Like I said in another post. As a kid we had the mumps, measles, chicken pox, Flu several strains, and multiple viruses. We survived and now the world is panicking over a single virus. Could it kill a lot of people? Yes. Will it? Maybe. What I am trying to say is we need to go about our normal lives and not create the downfall of our system. This virus is man made and so is this hysteria. This over reaction will bring on the new world order. I believe that this whole thing is orchestrated.
