How have we gotten to a point where a significant amount of people think Kid Rock, by being unqualified, is actually the most qualified?

Just extend this logic to any other aspect of your life and see how ridiculous it sounds.

You feel a sudden pain in your chest....So instead of the doctor, or 911, or your nurse friend next door, you call up your drop out friend Jimbo who marathoned the entire ER series.

Like, you don't think you could of found SOMEONE that might be better to put your trust into?

Reminds me of a great quote...

I'd rather entrust the government of the United States to the first 400 people listed in the Boston telephone directory than to the faculty of Harvard University. - William F. Buckley, Jr.

As a fellow 45, I can state unequivocally state this is a very valid argument. Problem is, both sides prop up unqualified candidates just because they appeal to certain demographics.

So...

Stop putting party affiliations on ballots and make the voters do their homework.

Hmm. Do opinions translate to issues? Why. I believe they do. LOL

I hear that. Enjoy those moments good sir.

In your original post you said the issue that would cause you to vote for Kid Rock was people on the left unfairly labelling people on the right. You mentioned no concern whatsoever on any kind of policy concerns. Thus, your response, as could be ascertained from your post, was a purely emotional one. You can squirm all you want now but there really is no dispute here. You seem like an alright fella but it seems you have trouble questioning your beliefs, are hearing anyone who isn't in your echo chamber. This isn't gonna go anywhere so with that I'll wish you a goodnight.

Really, get that politicians dick out of your mouth. They are people just like us. They aren't special or engineered in a lab.

They are fricking people. Get your face out of their arse.

it all started with a little case named Wickard v. Filburn

a War on Drugs, War on Pollution, and a War on Terror Later, and the near authoritarian state that now exists has many people upset

how is this not clear to you by now?

Most of y'all STILL don't get why Trump won and why Rock will win if he truly is running (which I don't think he is).

For years, Americans on both sides of the aisle have voted for the well groomed and polished politicians that laid out all these elaborate policy positions and awed us with their style and charisma.

What's it gotten us? Not jack fricking shite except fricked deeper in the arse with no grease and packed with sand.

We're sick of the polish. Give us brash in your face that's not afraid to call things what they are. That's the way most of us are IRL and want to give our representation a shot at the same thing.

Trump was a big "frick you" to the system and the establishment. He's a true threat or BOTH parties wouldn't be obstructing like they are. Just like Trump's healthcare speech today. He laid responsibility right at the feet of establishment Republicans to stop their fricking whining and do what we hired them to do.

Rock is the same way. He was a big frick you to the norms of the music industry. They kept telling him he couldn't do what he's done and he continues to wag his $100M dick in their faces as a reminder that he made it despite them.

Y'all are bigly over complicating this stuff. It really is that simple. What does Rock think about this policy or that policy? Who gives a frick, the 99 other Senators can give us hours of speeches on that shite and we're still left holding the bag. Rock will vote lock and step with Trump's policies and that's what we voted for.

Yet, continuing to do the same thing that got us in this position is going to change things?

Which one is more illogical?

What is the reason for voting for Stabenow?

You are misunderstanding my point. I do not support Stabenow, nor am I making any position on her desirability as a candidate over Kid Rock. If I were a Michigan resident I would study the platforms of all the candidates on the ballot, make an overall assessment on their ability to hold the office, and vote accordingly. By simply pointing out that Rob's vote was an emotional one which was not based on policy, does not necessarily mean I support one candidate over another. I'm just laughing at the irony in one poster making an over-generalization on Kid Rock supporters, and then Rob coming in providing a 'case in point.'

lol.

You have one girl you can take home chief, the point is why would you rush to grab for the snaggletooth with downs face, when there is a bar full of potential?

I get it, the professional skanks have fricked you over, but you don't go running for the gutter trash to compensate.

This is unfair, Stabenow's policy positions are horrible, her record speaks for itself / I am against just about everything she is for

Ritchie endorses positions I agree with

Is he uncouth and unconventional?

Absolutely, but still a better option than his opponent

It not rocket science and supporting him is not necessarily an emotional decision

Labeling it as such is condescending and unfair

Perhaps. How do you account for the minorities that voted for Trump because there were a shite pile of them.
