If you talk to a practicing satanist, they'll tell you that they don't actually believe in Satan. They'll say it's just an ideology not related to worship of a specific deity, but against the "limitations and restrictions of behavior" that are written in the Holy Bible and practiced by many of those whom profess Judeo-Christian faith.

I actually had this discussion with a satanist not long ago. We agreed to disagree in the end, but still were able to have a very civil discourse about the topic.

The staunch and outspoken atheists are the ones that simply cannot even listen to any view other than their own, just as much as the overly zealous, sanctimonious Christians that throw sin in your face at every possible opportunity. I say that as a born again Christian. We all know those of us that actually drive wayward souls away from our beliefs because they're too pushy, outspoken and blatantly hypocritical.
