Over the past 5 years, how many blacks killed by police in the US did NOTHING to create the encounter with the officers ? By doing nothing, I mean they committed no crime or offered no resistance once a citizen - police encounter was underway.

I suppose Breanna(?) Taylor qualifies in the mind of some although when you lay down with dogs - her boyfriend - you get fleas.

Any others?

Elijah McClain and Andre Hill come to mind. I am sure you would argue against Tamir Rice, but he was a kid and the police totally screwed that up.

Botham Jean too.

The number is actually pretty impressive, but you would never know that by watching the media. The big lie continues. Liberals think thousands of black people are being killed by cops every year.

I'd like to know that answer but as of right now I do not know of any instances except a white woman getting gunned down by a black muslim cop in Minnesota that took about 9 months to indict. I don't recall a single politician, let alone a president, call her family.

The cops shot me down in cold blood.

"Oh yeah. While I was robbing someone, I was high on crack, when the cop approached me I fought them and tried to take his gun, then pulled a knife out and tried to stab someone then i tried to run away and managed to take the cops tazer and got to my car to pull out another weapon."

"Those racist cops killed me for nothing".

Off-duty, drunk, female cop enters the wrong apartment thinking it's hers and shoot an innocent man.

Yeah, that proves that all of these white male devil cops are out there hunting down poor black dindu nuffin men.

So FOUR

in FIVE YEARS

in a country of THREE HUNDRED THIRTY MILLION people

muh epidemic of systemic racism!!!!!!!

edit: oh! maybe SIX!!!

Well that certainly changes everything.

Nobody can do the white people (or Hispanics for that matter) because they don't make money for race pimps.

There are probably a few. There are probably a few with white victims as well.

The problem is the solidarity in the black community doesn't allow them (as a group, not 100%) to separate the bad shoots from the good shoots. All they see is racism regardless of the circumstances. It's all they see every time there's any negative interaction with a white person.

The irony is that there actually ARE a few, and those would make far better case studies and reasons to be upset. And yet, activists seem hellbent on propping up some of the very worst cases as ones to rally around.

Hell...the Daniel Shaver cases was far worse than anything BLM has attempted to rally around if the idea was an unnecessary police shooting.

And there was even a far worse case of police kneeling on a guy as he died. Tony Timpa. I defy ANYONE to watch this and tell me that Floyd's situation was worse. Imagine the reaction has officers been laughing the entire time Floyd was dying...

LINK

Problem with both is that the victim was the wrong skin color.

Andre Hill -

I'm sure he was shot just because he was black.

That doesn’t qualify no more than a cop killing their spouse in a domestic.

It appears to me that ghetto scum are happy with the Haitian model of society. Until decent blacks people stand up to their trash, nothing can be done.

Her family did get $20 million from the city of minneapolis and the guy got 12.5 years in jail. His case is up before the Minnesota Supreme Court. So he and the state didn't get off scott free. It just didn't get much coverage.

We don't have a police problem we have:

a resisting arrest problem

a black crime problem

an interracial crime problem where one group is committing more violent crime against others than the reverse.

None of this is ever pointed out by the media.

Without public outrage it gets swept under the rug. The worst part of the George Floyd case was the local prosecutor sitting on his hands and defending Chauvin for days.
