Holy wall of babbling bullshite.

quote:

If Trump didn't think Qatar Force One were superior to the other available VIP aircraft why accept it and spend one billion dollars (so far) in attempting to make it usable as AF1? The flying palace (when it's available) is solely for Trump's use.
Well dumb arse it's called a bridge aircraft for a reason.

quote:

the White House WILL NOT RELEASE THE TRANSFER document.
FFS it's on the USAF inventory

quote:

It's entirely possible that the transfer was made conditional on the 747-8 going to the Trump Library after Trump completes his term.
It's entirely possible you are full of shut.

quote:

The reporting at the time of the transfer was 100% uniform: ownership of the 747-8 was going to the Trump Library.
Muh media!

Apparent structure !

Are you this ineffective as an attorney?

I generally agree that we provide way too much foreign aid but it’s pretty low down on the priority list in regards to slashing the budget. I’d like to see entitlements go first. Then I’d abolish whole departments of the fedgov starting with education. I’d merge NASA and NOAA. End grants and subsidies to universities that admit foreign students over Americans. Completely re-organize the military making it smaller and more lethal.

Sure, but what evidence do you have of that? Don't you think it's weird not to produce the transfer document?

This short clip is useful because it shows how well-known beforehand what a waste of money and time trying to transfer the flying palace into a viable AF1 would be. 2/3rds of the way through Trump confirms that the plane is "going to the library" after his term.

As for "yeah, but Congress or the Air Force won't let him take it out of inventory," if Qatar made the transfer conditional on Trump Library ownership, nothing can be done about that.

Is it worth considering the idea that foreign aid slated for (insert ludicrous study here) is really being deposited into said county’s treasury to prop up its currency to prevent regional financial turmoil?

The Trump Library is a private institution. The American people will have spent over a billion dollars for a 747 that's going to be in public service no more than two years.

The Trump Library can use the jet at its unfettered discretion thereafter.

Sounds like a 1.5ish billion dollar gift to Donald Trump...and his family after he's gone.
