Of course, I hope President Trump thrives and survives to a healthy old age. I just think it's much more likely that he dies in office than QF1 being mothballed less than 3 years after a billion dollar upgrade. In Trump's words it's being "maxed out."
In 3 years, QF1 will still be a SPECTACULAR aircraft. I HOPE Trump and his family make use of it. Maybe it will be deemed "a mobile exhibit of the Trump Library."

I will be honest with you. It's a stretch to see if I could even swing a 757. A V-tail Bonanza was the most I could ever afford.
Again, Trump is a good enough businessman that he will be able to fly (occasionally) and maintain a 747-800 privately.
FWIW, my guess is that Trump will back Don, Jr., Eric or Lara for president. If they win that will mean LOTS more money for the Library/Foundation.
