You're vastly overestimating the number of people who care about open carrying.

So if it's legal to smoke in a bar in a certain city and I own a bar, I have to allow people to smoke in there or you want the government to come after me and make me do something? Sounds tyrannical of you.

Can you reconcile this with private businesses having to provide ADA facilities on their private property?

I'm curious should owning a gun come with certain safety and defensive training classes? If we have to register our firearms why can't they require certification on each every X amount of years. If you can not pass you can not own, type of deal or would this still be against the #2 amendment for many.

What registration? NYC?

And them quietly asking you to leave if you do.

I love shopping at Publix and normally have a pistol in the back of my pants under my shirt. Don't be fooled this will just be the start. Big money is getting behind gun legislation.

Businesses in which you have a consenting relationship should be able to do fully as they please

You've proven your stupidity in a different thread today. Going for round two?

State rights > City regulations

I think the general public doesn't give a rat's arse about open carry.

I disagree with banning it, but I'm not naive enough to think the majority of folks support it.

Ok. But the answer isnt more regulation. If a person comes into my store and burns an American flag in my produce section, can I ask him to leave?

Says the guy that wants to force businesses hands by government action. In my scenario that would be limiting his rights, correct? What if he walked in yelling, "frick white people"?

We are an open carry state and it's pretty stupid to do when conceal carry is just as effective and less "hey look at me". I never open carry except when I am driving to my hunting spots or at my hunting spots.

In that case, shouldn't your right to the 1st amendment and all the other Constitutional rights require you to be trained and registered, with re-certification on each one every X amount of years? And if you can't pass the certification or training, you can't exercise these rights. May sound ridiculous, but that's what you are proposing.
