No, I’m not. We’re talking about government forcing action in both examples.
A government taxing someone differently is not the same as something that happens at a private business.

Until they do
This is a huge error in thought, in my opinion. They will never do if you keep adding to the regulation. Regulations will continue to expand as they've done for the last 150 years and a business' rights will continue to contract. You having the option to shop elsewhere, it's what great about a free market. Asking the government to force a business to serve you is an extremely liberal point of view.

So you are a Publix and someone just happens decide they are going to rob the store. He sees a gun on your hip. Boom, you are first target. I am 10 steps behind you but concealed. Who is more effective at protecting one's self? Whether you get involved with an active shooter at that point is up to you. I think it depends on whether your life or family are in danger. The person could have an accomplice standing behind all of us with hand on their weapon. Most folks that teach this stuff say stay out of it until absolutely forced to engage.
In your mostly unrealistic scenario, if someone robbing a store drops me as easy as you believe it would happen, I'd say I shouldn't be carrying at all.
Setting your myth aside, because that's exactly what it is, I'll point out that I was one of the "folks who teach this stuff." People open carry every single day. Where are the stories of mass executions of these people? Your scenario is the concealed carry proponents' version of "just rack your shotgun to scare them off."

It's going to interesting to see what Congress does when they come back in session. Lots of big money in Trump's ear right now. Trump must veto any legislation even if he gets over ridden, otherwise he is finished.
So you don't think a business should be able to do what they want on their property?

Uuummmm
Ummmmmmmmm
Terrible take on "shall not infringe"

Of course, if it's against their religious convictions, they should be allowed to prohibit gun worshipers to enter their stores.
Right?
Right?

I think they should be able to do 100% what they want to do within the law.
ETA:
Can't believe that was your takeaway from that comment.

Is this where you come in and act like you're all for reserving the rights of all private entities?

I’m a fairly casual baseball fan, but I know the DH rule is complete sacrilege in the eyes of many players and coaches. If you gave them the option, they’d strike it completely from the game. Until that happens, I don’t think it’s hypocritical of them to use it. I don’t expect the NL to eschew that particular rule out of principle in the next World Series, for example.

That was pretty fricking lame.

How is this not within the law?

To be fair, it was a stupid comment.

This is request against open carry and not concealed carry.

I think this is well too far of a reach to draw similarities. There's no free market forces in the baseball rules, you can't go join the NL if you'd like. Alternatively, you can go shop elsewhere that allows open carry. We are at an impasse as there is just a fundamental difference in our lines of thinking. It was a good conversation though

You teach it. Good for you. You have scads more experience than 99% of permit holders. Most permit holders paid $100 and got a back ground check and finger printed. Permit issued. Probably couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with it. But, I fully support their right to own it. Open carry all the time has "I'm a badass, look at me" written all over it.

What is the State law where the business is doing business?

He thinks the the bill of rights protects you from Publix and not the government.

They absolutely are infringing by this. 2nd Amendment makes absolutely no requirement of passing a certification test to keep and bare arms.

You are so backwards right now.
You think the Bill of Rights protects someone walking in your business and setting an,American flag on fire or yelling "frick white people".

The principle applies to anything, not just baseball. There are the rules you want, and there are the rules that exist. There’s no hypocrisy in using the rules that exist, even shen you don’t agree with them. We all do it every day.

I'm not sure what the hell you're talking about with permit holders. I taught Marines how to fight with their weapons, bud. We're a bit more experienced than the criminals in your fantasies.
Carrying openly is absolutely more effective than carrying concealed. You'll note that I've never said that open carry is always the best option.
There it is. This is your problem. You spend too much time reading shite on the Internet and eating up bullshite from your "trainers."
