Proposed Spending Bill - Warning, Will Anger You

To summarize:
A bill was proposed in Congress Tuesday seeking to increase funding to $1 billion of your taxpayer dollars to provide security for Jewish and Islamic houses of worship. Last year, $275 million was spent doing this, with 33% of applications approved. The bill also stipulates that the funding must be paid within 90 days of congressional appropriations.
I promise the article is worth a read. How they were able to cram so many things I’m sick of into one article is actually pretty impressive. You can’t despise these people enough

While I don't want my tax dollars going to this, it is far better than a lot of the bullshite we spend our money on.
Plus, how many billions do you think Jewish people pay in taxes each year? 1 billion is probably a drop in the bucket for how much they pay.

It’s all stupid spending, sure it’s not quite as bad as the learing centers but we shouldn’t be propping up security for two religions. Especially since one likes to commit acts of terror. The other has plenty of its own money.

How much funding is in there to provide funding for security for Catholic or Baptist or Presbyterian or other Christian houses of worship? Surely it's an equal amount, right?

They’re going to do what they want to do with the money. They don’t care about any of you or us.
They’ve been stealing billions for years and spending money on Sesame Street in Iraq for years. At this point, I expect the thieves to take what they want and launder it however they can without being caught. None of this is a shock to me.

But Christian churches pay for their security without govt money. I know plenty of cops who make extra money sitting in the back of Sunday services in plain clothes with a concealed handgun. The church pays for them.
