It's just a statue, but they clearly intended this as a slap in the face of their Lord Jesus Christ. I hope they repent before it's too late.

Situations where the mother's life is at risk is not what the legislation is about. There are protocols for that situation.

ETA: it infuriates the hell out of me. I absolutely abhor abortion, and I don't much like when my religion is openly mocked either.

Who said it isn’t in this case. One well placed shot from a local deer hunter and “retroactive abortion” looks like a poorly planned defacing that ended in an accidental death.
