ALL democrats are like this because they are ALL very socially awkward people.
Yeah, like Bill Clinton. Terribly socially awkward, him! And Bill Maher; guy can hardly talk, and he looks at his shoes when he does talk.

He became that when he flew a plane of illegals to Martha's Vineyard. Coolest thing a governor has ever done.

Who's on the Dem Party bench right now who looks like they would be an impressive candidate for 2028? Personally, the only one I know who even looks the part is Newsom, and his record as Governor of California is HORRIBLE. A GOP candidate like Vance could shred Newsom to pieces, even though the corporate media would do everything possible to protect and defend him.
What the Dems need to do is find somebody who is truly even close to being moderate. Could that be somebody like the Kentucky Governor, Beshears? Problem with somebody like him is that the Dems don't really want him. Hell, I couldn't even pick Beshears out of a police lineup, which tells you how much the Dems think of him. The radicals like Obama are chosen to give keynote speeches at a convention, but most people like me have never even seen Beshears (just using him as an example).
Lastly, nobody can defend how badly Whitmer looked in this meeting. She was clearly uncomfortable (how can you meet with someone you claim is the devil?). But, why go to Washington if you don't want to be seen with the man you've demonized?
Whitmer is just one more Dem who exposes herself for what she is. A TOTAL LIGHTWEIGHT.

Hard to argue with that, but one thing I’ve come to realize about Presidential politics is that the candidates mostly look insubstantial until they win the nomination, and then about half of them gain a lot of stature overnight.

True, but RD's campaign didn't go anywhere, either. He crashed and burned almost as badly as Kama-lama-ding-dong did in 2020.

We already had a preview when Ron skull dragged him in that debate.
Not sure why Newsome agreed to debate DeSantis but didn't seem to cause much permanent damage.
