Just pretend for, like, five seconds that Barack Obama had said:

“I went from college professor, to community organizer, to state senator and senator! Won the presidency on my first try! That makes me a genius, and shows how stable I am!”

The uppity **** outrage would be so intense that half the Republican Party would have taken over their local tourist bureau or died on the spot from apoplexy.

The defense of this will, of course, be “LOL MELT”.

But that’s as stupid as the initial tweets.

Barack Obama dividing the nation was a constant refrain. Now, dividing the nation is the purpose of the presidency, or at least a significant part of it.

Nothing Republicans melted about for years when Barack Obama was president was sincere.

I think libs take this shite too seriously. Y’all bite at the most ridiculous crap all while screaming “unfit and resist”.

Meanwhile, the stock market is up, job growth is up, unemployment down. People are putting food on the table.

But y’all want to resist because the man is not your brand of eccentric. Maybe if he just yelled “Yeehaw” ala Howard Dean you’d get behind him.

You're suffering from a common American problem in that you're paying attention to all of this media banter and Tweet fighting as if it even matters. Ignore the political bullshite and look at the actual policy proposals. Lower taxes should unite Americans. Modernizing our infrastructure should unite Americans. A compromise on immigration wherein some form of amnesty is provided to existing inhabitants in exchange for greater border security - that should unite Americans.

With Obama, it was all form over substance. The form was pretty suave, but the substance was severely lacking. With Trump, the form is at times a tough pill to swallow, but at the end of the day, many of his policy proposals are desperately overdue. No one is going to remember Trump calling himself a genius on Twitter in 20 years, but they'll be living through the effects of whichever policies he is able to persuade the legislature to pass.

I think the difference is TRUMP is actually good at the whole president thing. Where as Obama had eight years at it with a favorable media and still failed at it.

By and large I think there’s a lot of truth to that. I wouldn’t say nothing by any stretch but the criticisms both sides render are driven by partisanship and wanting to have an enemy to blame for things.

It was her turn. The polls showed this. How did this happen?

Many can't and never will get past this. The others are engaging in fun chatroom payback for various reasons, paid shills and post generators fill in the rest.
