I do not know about stronger than ever, but it is stronger than it was when Obama/Biden left office. Trump put enough pressure on Europe to make 8 member states increase their defense spending above the 2% threshold.

Poland is the only NATO member that is doing anything to help the USA protect Europe from Russian aggression. It is upgrading its air force and air defense systems, replacing its cold war era tanks with 800 K2 main battle tanks, and it is even working to figure out ways around Russia's monopoly on natural gas supplies to Europe. If liberals were serious about fighting climate change then there are several things that Europe has done that the USA should copy. A Dutch style flood protection system would do wonders to decrease the risk storm surges pose to our east coast cities. Building new reservoirs or expanding the capacity of existing reservoirs and expanding desalination like some of the souther European countries have done would do wonders to combat drought and water problems on the west coast. However spending billions or trillions of dollars on green energy is not one of them. We do not need to embrace green energy to the extent that Europe has done because we can reduce our carbon emissions by using more American natural gas.
Also not starting conflicts to overthrow regimes in countries that are needed to supply Europe's energy demands would go a long way to reduce our carbon footprint.
