POTUS Trump is putting a hurt on the "shadow fleet" and the Europeans are appreciative.

Since Russia is treating the "shadow fleet" as a strategic asset, the US and European counter is made. If the orinoco doesn't flow, the effect on oil price will be considerable.

The Chinese portion of this fleet is operating with impunity out of Angola now.
Trump 45 sent a message by, allegedly, disabling one headed to North Korea (it was marked with special paint when they repainted it to disguise it in Angolan harbor). But those days are long gone thanks to these accords.
Question is- will China send their fleet to make up gap(s) in support of both Russia and VZ or will they say no thanks, we need that African Black.
I'm betting China says no thanks.
I wonder if it is already baked into the cake or not. I'm not smart enough to even venture a guess about that myself.

Sanctioned countries using unflagged or wrongly flagged tankers is called the "shadow fleet". When it shuts down, the sanctioned countries feel it considerably, but so do others as well.

That is a lot of oil moved by that fleet. Oil prices are down right now and I really can not see how that potential supply loss is the reason.

That he does but proof of the demise of particular tankers is obvious. I remember Zeihan from his STRATFOR days. The STRATFOR news was always way ahead of the game.
