As much as serious people are guiding anything at this point.

I just dont understand people getting upset over this. A world leader and the Pope disagree. It's not like this has never happened before.

I know a lot of Catholics who believe Francis and Leo are apostates.

I hear ya Rooster. Born and raised Catholic also. I believe in Church and the Faith. A problem I see is the Church is run by human beings, and not perfect ones at that. As I get older I notice more of the Church leaders and their imperfections. But I still have the Faith.

I forgot his name was Robert Prevost. I will not ever use the word pope when discussing him again. Robert Prevost it is. Maybe they will let Robert reopen his Trump bashing, JD Vance hating, and anti-American twitter account soon.

Catholic Theology, as applied to politics, leads to extreme socialism. But there is no way to force mankind into socialism without a coercive state. And the more socialistic the more coercion is required. It is simply unnatural for those among us, who are strivers and producers, to have to do so simply for the benefit of others.
When Catholicism has had the kind of power Pope Leo craves, they have done so in the company of feudalism and a large, well armed aristocracy. The clergy and the aristocracy were parasites living off the toil of the peasants, which was about 90% of the people. This is what Pope Leo wants for the future.

Franco would disagree.
Come on! Franco was fighting against the biggest threat to the Catholic faith since the moors were in Spain - Godless communism. Of course the pope supported Franco. The US supported Stalin in WW2, BTW.
When considering what the pope is really about, consider these words of Ayn Rand,
“It stands to reason that where there is sacrifice there is someone collecting the sacrificed offerings; where there is service there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice and service is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master.”
The Catholic church owned one quarter of all the land in France when the French Revolution broke out in 1789. Think of that. And the people did not have enough to eat. The pope never used the church’s wealth to alleviate the hunger.

I thought Leo might have been more of the bridge to that than the sledgehammer Francis wanted to be. That's looking less so at this juncture.
I think the globalists are getting desperate and using the Catholic Church to try to fracture Trump support.
Ya' think?

That Pope who has been Pope for a year?
Yes, this Pope... who is weighing in publicly and criticizing actions taken against Iran. He might want to understand history and context before he starts flapping his little boy cock holster.

Robert Prevost was not a good selection for the current pope….He isn’t able to handle current affairs in a manner that honors faith and truth. Surely there were smarter candidates.

Tom is wrong. The Pope knows perfectly well that children are being trafficed and harmed or he's too stupid to be Pope.
