I bet before I hit submit on this reply, the word “props” are already being used for the family members invited to speak.

Any elected official who tries to defy this effort should be arrested.

I've never done a drug in my life (unless you count mixed liquors and coffee).

I liked how there at the end POTUS says, "when local authority calls us up on a large scale, we will be there with full force. But until then, we are doing this and it will have an affect."

He didn't say "if". He said "when." He knows damn good and well how this is going to end.

Powerful remarks by all.

All except Chris Wray who spoke for about 90 seconds with zero emotion, and then loafed back to his seat. What a f'ing loser.

Chris Wray looked like a hostage up there. Makes me think he either doesn't buy in, or DHS is the real power in this.

I came here to say the exact same thing. You could tell he REALLY didn’t want to be called on.

Then arrest her for hampering a federal investigation, obstruction of justice, aiding and abetting, and so on..

Plenty of things she could be charged with if tries to interfere. I'd love to see a lot of these race pimps, and pandering scum perp walked.

ETA: Trump is announcing a federal leo surge in Chicago. Hundreds of feds being sent to Chicago.

Don’t like this, no matter how bad it gets. It’s a Chicago problem.

Did he bring up the conference call where they were all cursing each other out because Lightintheloafers was fricking up the response?

Or the conference where Chicago city council members were telling Lightfoot how their districts were violent war zones and Lightfoot responded by saying they were “full of shite”?

Love how Democrats and the media trivialize violence against real innocent people.

He really shouldn’t even be in the picture but if he is it’s good that he’s being held hostage.

While it IS a problem Chicago itself will have to fix in the long term, I can assure you as a Federal officer this is exactly the type of law enforcement I signed up for. Same with my fellow agents.

As US Marshals we go where we're needed, countrywide. This is our job, it's not being forced upon anybody; it's what we're here and exist for.

If drugs were legal then gangs will have to downsize. No more recruiting of 13 years to be hoppers, etc. Of course, minimum wage laws will need to be dealt with, etc.

Sure...once the drugs are legal all these gangbangers will go back to college and become CPAs
