Potential trigger warning: I'm about to praise Ben Shapiro.

I realize he's a polarizing figure on this board--and by all means feel free to use this thread to duke it out some over that. Personally, I like him a lot ( 
).
I felt the need to share his thoughts on AOC's ("so fresh and so faced"--I admit he overdoes that joke) recent instagram live stream where she scolded anyone using the word "surge" to describe the border crisis and how "problematic" it is. This had me in stitches.

Every aspect of our society has been infiltrated and taken over by the left under the watchful eye of conservative “thinkers” like Ben Shapiro.

So because Shapiro, who is 37 and rose to prominence only in the last 10 years, doesn’t support an armed insurrection he’s a detriment to the conservative cause?!

Sadly some conservatives have latched on to the Marxist “critical theory” model when it comes to grading other conservatives. Add nothing to the conversation yourself, but pick apart everything little thing wrong with prominent conservatives actually in the arena. It is equally dumb and unproductive. It’s ok to dislike Ben Shapiro but to lie and say he is responsible for the liberal takeover of society and that he’s not a patriot is a take that makes Joe Biden look intelligent.

^^That initially was me that downvoted, but I think I might have misunderstood you. Are you saying you have to be to the right side of David Duke to be triggered by him or to praise him? If it's the former, I completely agree. At first I thought you meant the latter.

Yes, it’s the former. Shapiro started his own media outlet, which at present is easily the second most prominent and mainstream conservative outlet in the country. That’s more than 99.9% of conservatives will ever do for the cause.
The only people who don’t like do so on the basis that he has the audacity to say something nuanced like “voter fraud exists AND the 2020 election wasn’t literally stolen by rigged voting machines”. The guy literally sent invitations to EVERY major figure, just like Tucker did, publicly claiming that the election was stolen to come on his show and he’d devote the entire episode to them presenting their evidence. And for that some here said he was grandstanding

Nah. It’s the big business U.S. Chamber of Commerce GOP that are ensuring that Rome burns as U.S. wealth gets exfiltrated to China as the U.S. gets driven into more and more of a service based economy. Service based economies are poor and have massive income disparities. Rich economies make stuff and have a strong middle class. Ben Shapiro's puppet master is Paul Singer. Paul Singer is part of the GOP elite class that are okay that Rome burns as long as he continues to get rich AF through one way "free trade" policy.

None of that is true. He both voted for and endorsed Trump in the last election.

If you don't like Ben you don't deserve to call yourself a conservative. The same people who would pick apart Ben Shapiro, wouldn't dare criticize Trump on many of the unconservstive policies he was a part of (spending, bump stocks, prison reform, etc).
Yes, we do need to identify the RINOs, especially the ones elected but there is no need to tear down people on our side. The Daily Wire, in addition to starting a movie studio, is now getting into music and has started a record label. He is not just talking, he is doing things to impact conservative culture.
