Why are you so worried about what others think of the insinuation that this murderer will most likely skate locally? Who GAF if SD is pushing the presumption-he will skate locally-- As we are being gas lit by dems not using political correctness or absolute facts.

If he did it and it was not in self defense he is guilty and will be arrested. If the state doesn't act the feds will since it is also a denial of civil rights and also would qualify as a hate crime. They guy may have disappeared.

I generally agree, but the problem is that the residents mo e to red states and take their politics with them. If Texas and Florida goes blue, it gets mathematically VERY hard to win.

The set of pictures with the black socks was from the day before from the protest at the Mayor's apartment building. The white socks were from the night of the shooting.

Does anyone think the doj / fbi could be using this as a trap? Collecting al the communications between the elected officials and doj and outside groups to prove a larger conspiracy?

For all that we know, they could know where he is and are simply refusing to arrest him (what SD and CA are posting), he may be in hiding (what you are suggesting), or...they may not even be looking for him (I can only imagine the dejection and despair the police in Portland feel at this time - apathy could be in play). “Under investigation” provides cover for all of the above scenarios.
Nonetheless, the ongoing shite show in the Portland PD, the Portland political hierarchy (Mayor), the shite sandwich that is Oregon “leadership” (Governor), and the dismal display of integrity by the DOJ, does not fill me with confidence in terms of how this will be resolved.

yeah, not much anymore. I was a supporter of his work, until recently. And I applaud his vigor, and I believe in the goals he is working towards, but IMO, there's been a shift in his approach, one that I'm not too fond of.
(I think I've stated this before here) I was always appreciative of SD's constant reminding the readers, of how the narrative of the attacks on Flynn and Trump via the weaponized Obama DOJ was weaved together. He (she?) always did a great job of pointing out dates and actions, connecting the dots, taking multiple, seeming disparate, points and drawing the relations. Laying out various CIA, FBI, Congressional, media and DOJ official docs from the FOIA and exposing a chronological narrative that would be nearly impossible to see to the layman. SD would do a great job at stuff like "well if Comey testified that ____ happened in May 2016, then how in the frick can Yates say that _________ happened in January 2017?"
But lately, more and more Alex Jones~esque conspiracies with little to nothing to back them up. I've definitely soured on SD.

Because THAT is what the left does constantly, it is exactly what we hate about their propaganda machine. Just throw random shite out there in the ether, and who cares if it's right, if its wrong, if its based in truth or a hypothetical. The damage has been done, a retraction is not needed, as the media is complicit in the lie. The entire thing is a hot mess & speculation. I am of the mindset that 'under investigation' should have turned into questioning or arrested rather quickly. No way I trust these locals or the mayor.
The Mayor was so full of Trump hate and partisan is was ridiculous. The police Chief is new since June as the other one resigned in June.
I don't think Sundance trusts the locals in this instance to remove the partisan hats. So this is Sundance's way of more so calling attention to the FBI & DOJ.
Sundance's research is top notch so I don't think he has too many headlines that are sensationalized... Unless the overall point is to call out the DOJ & FBI? Since this is a hate crime the local FBI should be the investigators, no?
