Matt Walsh said it best on his podcast this afternoon. The main goal of the Left is the normalization of sexual degeneracy. Pornography is nothing but virtual and legalized prostitution. And this is coming from someone who has been fighting a porn addiction for the better part of the last 5-7 years.

And what is the issue with prostitution? So long as the participants are legal consenting adult citizens, why shouldn’t prostitution be legal? The practice’s illegality sure hasn’t seemed to curb the supply of or demand for prostitutes, it has only made engaging in it more physically dangerous for both the buyer and seller.
Much like alcohol and drug prohibition, legalizing prostitution would actually make people safer and save lives while keeping it illegal helps no one.
Once again, don’t confuse legality with cultural acceptance.

I watched a lot of porn as a teen and a single guy in his early 20s. Married an attractive woman, rarely watch porn now. When I do it's when my wife isn't feeling it (she just has a hysterectomy and is dealing with all sorts of hormonal issues).
I'm a full time upper middle class worker married for over 15 years with a daughter making straight As.
Just because someone is an alcoholic doesn't mean everyone is.

There's really nothing healthy about it. Dumbasses think they'll be thought lame if they say that, but it's not healthy. It was never intended to be. At best, it's a lowly, monkey common denominator way to make money. At worst, it's an intended cancer on society.

Seems like an issue of self-control to me. Some people can drink in moderation. Some cannot drink a little without going overboard and going on a bender. You cannot blame all people who drink for the actions of those who can’t drink responsibly any more than you can blame all gun owners for the actions of depraved individuals who use guns to commit crimes and atrocities.
If you cannot look at porn without it becoming an addiction or without it driving you to commit unspeakable acts beyond masterbation while alone in the privacy of your own home, then the problem is you, not pornography. People with Addictive personalities can turn anything into an addiction. People with evil impulses can find any justification or excuse for their actions. There’s no reason to punish everyone for the actions of those who cannot be responsible for themselves. Hold those folks accountable.

maybe this is a thing, probably not a very common thing
But I think it skips over a true point, which is that porn to men is what unrealistic social media-driven life is to girls/women. It alters the way you think about things, as discussed in this thread.
I'm not trying to be puritanical, but I think in the aggregate it is deeply unhealthy for our men/boys.
