Huntsville is now 4,000 people away from replacing Birmingham as the largest population center in the state.

Huntsville gained 20,000 residents ....Birmingham lost 5,000.

If the blacks would shoot a little more they might hit 10,000 easily.

Space Command is not open yet and the FBI is not fully populated. Huntsville will overtake Birmingham this year easily. This means that UAB will see more attendance at the new stadium during the World Games than at football games next fall.

Looks like Auburn and Alabama will have to do home and home series with UAB just to fill the stadium periodically. If the game is boring, there always goofy golf within two blocks away.

Yep. Huntsville feels more like a city in Illinois than Alabama.

I never like to use just a city's population as to compare the size.
Always the Metro area population, even with flaws, too, is a better method.

All the work put in to build it into a high paying thriving red city will be undone and turned into a struggling leftist shithole in 10-15 years.

I’d much rather live in the Birmingham suburbs

I don’t necessarily enjoy all of the Yankee transplants relocating to Huntsville. I love this city, but we are subsidized by federal money and are bringing in a lot of northern Virginia types and I think we will follow a similar trajectory

Eh. Huntsville went either very slightly red or white last cycle.

Trump and tubberville won by like 30 points.

I don’t think Huntsville is gonna be a factor anytime soon.

Let’s not get crazy, it’s still conservative by most metrics I can think of. I just fear it’s on the NOVA or Austin trajectory

Hey, it's all good. My people are from Alabama and neither of us are Arkansas. So, it was just a joke.
