Do you realize how many animals would be in heaven? Like 10 trillion? Ridiculous

So will we be more aware, or less aware than we are while we are lying in our coffins in Lakelawn Cemetery?

Good point. I don't proclaim to know everything about it, but the "Fluffy Delusion" just doesn't ring bells of profundity to me.

My own personal view is too many fear the music and don't embrace it. What's wrong with doing nothing while being in a state of perfect peace? Could there be anything better?

The title of the album that this song comes from is pretty apropos.

Of coarse. For people that love their animals. "Many mansions" there. Parallel Universes, infinitely so. To each their own.

I like that Pope. He's a step up.

Sweet! Knowing that my gun is under my bed while i'm sleeping at night gives me comfort and peace that i'll be able to ward off intruders. Can I take my gun up to heaven?

I see nothing wrong with telling a child that his dog will be in Heaven; we don't know that he won't be, and if he isn't, we won't care.

I told my children that animals do not go to Heaven. I base my belief from the book of Job.

Job 1:2-3
He had seven sons and three daughters, and he owned seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen and five hundred donkeys, and had a large number of servants. He was the greatest man among all the people of the East.

Then Job 42:12-14 states

The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys. And he also had seven sons and three daughters. The first daughter he named Jemimah, the second Keziah and the third Keren-Happuch.

I see that God doubled Job's animals but not his childern. My conclusion is that God doubled Job's animals on earth and God doubled Job's children in Paradise. Thus animals don't go to Heaven.

Honestly if that's what will make you the happiest then there's no reason for me to believe that won't be your heaven.

Another belief I possess is that since we're all different the afterlife may present itself to each of us in a different form.

I don't know but, I'm just guessing porn may not have the same attraction to us given the wonders of heaven. I think we'll possess gender but that's just my belief.

I don't see how any sane person doesn't believe in God. You have to be messed up to believe in evolution and all the other crap that goes with it. Somehow all these creatures on the earth come from one microorganism? that is the stupidest idea ever, challenged only by the idea that that microorganism exploded into existence when all the other rocks exploded into existence

How would that microorganism survive a blast more powerful that a gazillion nuclear bombs to the 10000th power? Then it traveled many light years with no oxygen or food. Even if it had food, it would have out-traveled its lifespan, which certainly wouldn't have been at the very minimum would have been 1000's of years, though more than likely, 100's of thousands of years. See how stupid the idea is?

Animals don't have spirits or souls and therefore will not have eternal life.

Atheists, animals, etc. With this Pope, everyone goes to heaven despite their beliefs.
It makes silly things like God's word totally irrelevant. But the RCC has been making that irrelevant from day one.

They probably mean the supreme one...the 'big daddy' one, the supreme one recognized by many faiths and religions. But I'm just guessing.

Because religious threads are anchored or removed. It's the world we live in.
