Wasnt election day turnout extremely low? Most people probably just assumed the incumbent would keep the position and didn't go in to vote.

Well, they get what they deserve. They are the ones who voted for a 28 year old bartender. What? Did they think she was really looking out for them and their interests? They need to realize when you are less than a year on the job and you are already squawking that your $174k a year salary isn't enough (when you were pouring beers and cleaning toilets less than a year ago), you aren't in it for the right reasons.
She is pulling a Jindal on those people. Looking for the next step up while stepping on her constituents. And the DNC will probably push for it.
